camping hivernal
36 $ ( argent comptant)
electricité , douches et toilettes
parfait pour la saison
$36 for a powered site. Very nice, heated shower block. We tried booking and, even though this place is open and bookable in the winter, you can’t book in April! You can, however, just show up. There’s self registration by cash, cheque or credit card.
Report Check-In$36 electrical sites, $41.50 for unserviced with a fire pit (wood provided). Heated showers and washrooms. First come first served winter camping.
Report Check-InVery beautiful and relaxed campground. Trail to Jasper starts here and goes along the edge of the beautiful Athabasca river. Highly recommend
Report Check-InPowered and non-powered tenting sites. Free fire wood. Lots of elk wander the site. Potable water and dump station on the grounds. Short drive into Jasper townsite. Many trees have been cut down in the campsite due to pine beetle infestation so not a lot of privacy.
Report Check-InGorgeous campground with some sites that back up to Athabasca River. $38 Canadian.
Report Check-InSuch a nice campground and our only chance to stay in the area in winter season. We made a fire and had a great and quiet night at A14
Report Check-InA little bit expensive but is the only option close to Jasper before the summer season. It has a very clean bathroom with shower and potable water.
Report Check-InNice clean and Well maintain campground.
We paid 40dollar for 1 night with a car.
(Paid more because we didn’t had coins)
Was enough firewood and nice big loggs.
Toilets and showers where hot and clean.
Winter camping update : Comfort stations including showers actually were open. And it was more like 38.50. Not 35 S I said earlier.
Report Check-InWinter review: Stayed here last night for some snowboarding at Marmot Basin. Quiet. Well lit. Snow is cleared well. Free firewood not sure how many sites have fire pits though. Mine didn’t seem to. But bathrooms and pit toilets are locked for winter so you need your own facilities. Sites are electric and cost 35.00 cash or credit card via the iron ranger.
Report Check-InOnly part of the campground is open in the winter (A-D, if I'm not mistaken).
Lots of campers, not much privacy but it does have hot showers and clean bathrooms.
There are two types of sites here, serviced (electricity and water but no fire pit) and unserviced (fire pit and picnic table). Unserviced is more expensive because it includes the fire permit.
👍 Pagamos $38,50 a diária.
This camping is perfect, the place is great, it has a barbecue, the bathroom is clean and the shower with infinite water is perfect. 👍 We pay $38.50 a day.
@enjoytripbr
Report Check-InThey are open!! We stayed here for 3 nights and the camp grounds are full with other campers and and tenters!
Clean bathrooms, hot showers, free wood with a permit !
This is CLOSED for the winter - there are no separate summer and winter sites.
Report Check-Incampground is closed. Don't know if it's because it's end of the summer season or it's permanent
Report Check-InGreat campsite. Stayed in W11 right near the river. Flush toilets, showers and warm water sink for washing dishes.
Report Check-InNous y avons passé 4 nuits tranquilles.
Report Check-InBiiiig Campground, but a lot of space between. Surrounded from mountains. Now on May 31st not many people. I like 👍
The Wapiti Jasper tops the Tunnel Village II in Banff by far. Generously spaced sites, with and without fir trees. Great all-round view of the mountains. Firepit and massive wood in addition.
Good to know:
No WiFi, but cell service. E.g. from parcel W the showers are quite far away.
Sani Dump available.
Large beautifully well kept campground. Stayed near the back end by the river, barely anyone there, and sites are spread enough apart that I didn’t even notice neighbours. Free fire wood and showers, I got hot water in one as well. Paid about $70.00 for 2 nights.
Report Check-InWinter Camping available. $35 electric sites. Hot showers. Free firewood.
Report Check-In$34.50 for a night for a spot in a not very level (!!) parking lot. Showers and toilets were very clean, separate drinking water tap inside the building. No dump available in March 2022. It's quiet and the view is great, very close to Jasper.
Report Check-InWe stayed here 4 nights in February. It was $34.50/night plus around 9$ for a fire permit (this includes as much wood as you want that you collect from a large pile). Only the AA loop is open in winter and there were lots of other campers there. Showers and washrooms were great!
Report Check-InNice and empty at this time of year. Maybe 10 other rigs parked up. Firewood is included in the cost of entry and you can take as much as you like. Showers and toilets operational: clean and nice
Report Check-InIf you’re looking for power, you’ll have to stay in the parking lot with all the other RVs. They do have fire pits there and it’s close to the showers. Other campsites are unserviced and you can notice the clear cutting, as there is little privacy but if you want to stay in Jasper in the off season, this is your only option.
Report Check-InParked in what I call ‘’WM parking lot’’ with electricity. Very good hot showers!! Not to bad for $33/night.But the rest of the campground is awful since trees have been logged..
Report Check-InMost of the trees got logged recently, so not really nice.. have to pay for fire permit (people took wood even though they didn't pay for it) so its at least 36$.. showers not the best as well
Currently closed for Pinebettle infected tree removal. Should reopen for the 2021 summer season. There is NO winter camping in Jasper National Park until summer of 2021.
Report Check-InCampground managed by Parks Canada. Checked-in with a van in lot AA14 which is a big parking for $33 with electricity. No showers available due to covid. Washrooms on site, clean. Must pay for fire pit. Near a river. Quiet
Report Check-InStayed two nights as we were lucky to spontaneously find a spot dice the online booking was not available yet. Really loved the place! Showers not available due to covid, but that's understandable. Location is really central in Jasper National Park.
Report Check-InPaid $32 for power and a site in the winter area, which is basically a carpark with fire pits around it. Overall its a nice camp and the washroom and showers are nice and clean. Showers are warm but not hot and you have to push a button every minute.
Report Check-InMaybe the most busy campground in Jasper. In September fully booked, but try it and ask for a site anyway.
Clean bathrooms and good warm showers
big campsite nestled in the woods. good facilities. An elk walked right past our tent which was very exciting.
Report Check-InNice campground surrounded by trees. Self register in winter. Showers are definitely hot.
$27.40 unserviced, firewood $8.80
The only campground open at Jasper in Winter.
27,4$
Showers are cold...
