We visited the embassy on thursday at 15.30, but they were already closed. We tried again on friday at 10.00 and we got our visa straight away. We already paid the day before at the Mellat bank (50 euros cash). So no need to spend the 75 euros on express I assume.

we went today to the embassy and the told us to pay 50 euro per person at the Mellat bank and come back for the visa. It was working in the same day and we didn't had to pay 75 euro.

Seems like opening hours could be strange. Mentioned hours at the door are not right.
I can here Monday at 13:15 and 15:30. Both times it was closed. But Tuesday at 09:00 it opened for getting Visa.

First go to Mellat Bank at Charents street and mention you want to pay for Iran visa. You need to know the amount you want to pay in. For express visa I payed 75€ (I payed cash with dram.) It takes 5 minutes.

Then go to the embassy and ring the door on the left side of the building (where the wrong opening times are mentioned). You have to leave your stuff and phone in lockers. When I arrived I was the only person there. Take a number and then proceed to mentioned counter. The man took only passport and bank letter and disappeared for 10 minutes. After that another man came back with my passport and my final visa. That’s it. Took only this 10 minutes.

Loads of people got their visa here since 2019 but to keep it up to date:

We applied for our Visa through an Iranian Visa agency as the application through the e-visa system would be rejected.
Next we paid 50€ per Person in cash at Mellat Bank (40.181528 44.527949). Takes 5 minutes.
Next come to the embassy, entrance on the left hand side, door bell, serious looking guy, headscarf for women available and you're in.
In there, show your passport and visa letter and you'll get another version of the visa letter back. That's it. Took us only 5 minutes

The two older reviews are correct. We went to the Mellat bank first (open Mo-Fri 9:30 - 16:30) they know the procedure well, speak english well, Payment is only taken cash and in €. 5 min. We were done.
The staff at the embassy was very kind and helpful. Entrance from the left side, ring the doorbell at Budaghyan Str. We handed our passports and payment confirmation, after 5 min we were done, pickup two days later. We have been told they ate open Mo/Wed/Fri 9:30-1 & 2-4 pm. There is even free water, sweets and cookies.
About the fast processing for 75€ we cannot tell...

Do not ask the security's around the Embassy for the opening ours: ring at the sidedoorbell and ask there!
When we have been there, opening hours where Mo- Fr 9-13 and 14- 16 o'clock!
Go first to mellatbank.am, Tumanyan str. 5a, and pay cash !!!! 75 € each for Iran Visa. With this receipt we went back to the Embassy and got the visas within 10 minutes from the extremely friendly staff!

Find here the Iranian consulate for your visa stuff. Open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 2-4pm. Really friendly and helpful, good organized and not too full. Come a bit later then it’s not so full any more. As usual 50€ for getting the visa 2 days later (leave passport there) and 75€ for getting it the same day. If you already have your registration number/ e-visa confirmation then you can go first to the mellat bank (40.179662, 44.52149) and bring your bank receipt with you then it goes faster.

Advice for e-Visa: even if you didn’t get the confirmation within the 10working days and inserted Yerevan an pick up embassy then just go to the embassy and ask for it. This will fasten up the process.
