There were road works when we passed there, coming from Medellin going to Jardín, which meant we could not pass between 8 am and 5 pm. Don't know if you can get through during weekends. We had to make a detour: go back to Amagá - Camilocé - Palomos - La Venecia - Bolombolo. The road is... typically Colombian (paved but not really), but OK (we did it on a motorcycle).
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Still roadworks further south in direction of Jardin. We drove on a Saturday and had no issues as there was no active construction but it could be different on weekdays.
Report Check-Init is still the same. the road is closed.
we are going over valenica to bolombolo.
Same same direction to Jericó, works still in process : Amagá - Fredonia - Puente Iglesias - Cauca Viejo. Road has holes in the shade, watch out.
Report Check-Inwe got the announcement (foto!) at the peaje amagá that it will take 10 more month.
Report Check-InRoad is under construction! Though the closure location constantly changes, this road IS closed between 8 and 5. Do not take this to Jardin without asking the transport police if it has reopened.
Report Check-InStill here but we caught a bit further down the road on the way to Jardin
