Description
60 R /pp in low season, very nice camping, big terrain, with a gate (secure). A person stays there all day and he keeps the gate closed.
The owner lives here too, but arrives in the week at 8pm, very helpful, he knows about some trekking in the area.
A lot of flat spaces, with electricity 220v, clean bathrooms and hot showers. A little kitchen place too with refrigerator and bbq's place, and fast wifi.
You can walk from inside the camping for 10 minutes and you get to the beach.
Good location to know the south part of the island and do some trekking.
And it is PET FRIENDLY. One dog lives at the campground's.
No problems for big rigs, refill water at the camping for free. You can walk to a supermarket.

Big and nice campground but expensive for what you get. 60 Reais per Person during low-season. Wifi signal is only in the kitchenarea available but even there not really good or strong. At the electricity point in the motorhome area only 2 of 5 plugins worked. We talked to the owner and explained the problem. He didn't really seem to care. The Showers are really good and the water is hot. The water is drinkable from every tap at the campground. We stayed here for 3 nights and nobody cleaned during that time, so the kitchen and bathrooms were not really that clean. The place is calm and during low-season there aren't many people around. For 60 Reals p. P. per night, we expect more.
Report Check-InCamping in walking distance to the beach (10min). There is a leveled gravel lot for motorhomes, but we chose to stay at the far end on the gras / sand between bushes. A very quiet place, close to nature with company of many birds, long-tailed monkeys and other insects ;) Community kitchen and bathrooms were super clean. Hot shower. Good WiFi in kitchen area. Price in low season 60$R per person.

Report Check-InWe had a great week here. Very peaceful at night, 5 minute walk to the beach. Rafael, the owner was super helpful, friendly and speaks English. He also owns a laundromat! Good wifi, clean bathrooms, hot showers and a good size common kitchen. $45Rpppn. Open all year.
