6 places but 2 or 3 over but i suppose you have to pay $14 or $7. We are overflow, we pay people told us it ok.

Report Check-In

What a great place to stay. $14 dollars paid via the envelope at the entrance. Quiet area away from the main road and enough for 6 spaces so perhaps get there mid afternoon to get a spot. You can book for a number of days just displaying your ticket on your pitch number to prevent someone taking your spot if you go out for the day. Great walk over the rocks for fantastic views - a tad windy though.

Report Check-In

This location has 6 sites. Most sites level, beautiful view and convenient for all activities in or around Page. No hookups or facilities. $14night or with senior access pass $7. 3 consecutive nights max stay. Some hi way noise from 89 but not bad. Come early as the sites turn over most mornings but fill fast after noon.

Report Check-In

Spent a lovely day/ night here. Beautiful views, nice folks. It was full by 3 pm. One large RV pull into a non site area after dark but didnt seem to bother anyone . So total of 7 rigs here.
Bonus is the 1.5 mile “New Wave” hike starts directly across the road . Great option if you didn’t score a WAVE lottery ticket.

Report Check-In

Just traveling through over Thanksgiving and found this little gem. Pd $7 SS/DA Careful with the Goat heads are everywhere except where the cars have kept them away. Just remember to check soles of shoes and puppies feets before entering you quarters.
Location is quiet, very little road noise, never heard other campers arriving or leaving.
Payment can be cash or cc. Fill out the envelope, tear off post receipt and drop envelope Payment in fee tower.
Mostly car, van and truck campers but our 24 rv fight fine in the site.photo attached

Report Check-In

We got in at night. The rocks were beautiful waking up to in this morning. A few parking spots above the designated camping area.

Report Check-In

stopped in at 4pm today. all sites occupied. went to Lone Rock (same price) DO THIS. Beehive is ugly, has tons of Goat heads (little really nasty thistle pods) really bad for pets not good on your feet if you track them. into the rig...

Lone Rock is right up the road. Has porta potties, lots of room, quiet. The camping area is 1/2 mile long? maybe more there are 50 rigs here tonight , spaced out, it is very quiet. Yes there is sand, but it isn't a problem if you don't go down to the water edge of Lake Powel.

Report Check-In

good and calm spot, 14$ for one night (only 6 spots arrive early)

Report Check-In

Found it just as reported by others. Quiet place to spend a night. Definitely take the time for the hike. Even if you don’t have time for the whole 1 1/2 mile loop, the views are worth it. Added two photos of campsite from the hike.

Report Check-In

great small campground. no services but clean and large sites. 14/night

Report Check-In

Très calme. 14$ (7$ pour les seniors). 6 sites sans services. Mais de la place pour plus…

Report Check-In

We found the location used in 2020. Now paying $14/night.
Plan to do the “The new wave” trail (1 hour) starting on the other side of the path.
Breathtaking view, a taste of “the wave” for those who will not have the chance to be drawn in the lottery…. I really liked it...

On a retrouvé l’emplacement utilisé en 2020. Maintenant payant 14$/ nuit.

Report Check-In

Great gravel site, checked in around 6 pm and were only the second camper. Don't even think it filled up overnight! Super easy to drive in and turn around, too. Beautiful views of the surrounding area, but be sure to take the Beehive hike around the mushroom rocks, so worth it! Remember it's half price if you have the National Parks pass.

Report Check-In

Beautiful morning views and close to Waheap Bay Marina

Report Check-In

Easy to find with a short gravel drive. We had site 4. Super easy back in because the campground is essentially one big cul-de-sac so there is plenty of room to straighten up before backing.
There are 6 designated sites with picnic tables however the night we were here 7 or 8 RVs were here.
We arrived early at 8:15 am just as two campers were leaving. By 6pm all 6 official sites were taken and a couple of others just squeezed in. Not sure if they got tickets or anything. I don’t remember if there was any signs about only camping in designated spots.
$14 per night.
Quite a bit of road noise from the freeway but getting quieter as the night goes.

Report Check-In

Campground was full. just down the same road there is a No Camping sign. However, the road to the campground forks before the campground. The fork to the right goes to the campground, but to the left there is an area you can camp at right before the Authorized Vehicles Only sign. There is road noise, but also nice views.

Report Check-In

Great views, New wave less than mile hike away.

Report Check-In

Came in around 5pm and the place really filled up after; many came in between 5-10pm looking for spots but all were filled. We paid $14 but with a national park senior or access pass it’s $7. There were 6 total paid spots, but other spots around were free. No amenities besides picnic tables. Quiet time begins at 10pm.

Report Check-In

Very nice campground with a view of the canyon and lake.

Report Check-In

Small campsite but great views. A large boulder for my boys to be able to climb and see the sites.

Report Check-In

Nice little campground with six sites. $14 per night full price, half off with National Parks pass. Picnic tables but no other facilities. Take the dirt road just past/before the dam. Campground on a slight rise. Nice view and great cell service. Very convenient to town.

Report Check-In

it's a great place. Stayed for 3 days. Very clean and quiet.
I'll be back.

Report Check-In

Great sites with a great view! $14 but we’ll worth it!

Report Check-In

The box is now full of envelopes so plan to pay the fee. $14/night or half price with golden access pass. Six nice spots spaced out enough with picnic table. 1-2 bars of ATT LTE that seem to work great (no cell signal booster). Very easy in and out which is nice. Some noise from cars from 89 but more like distant noise-not bad at all. Clean except, sadly, someone dumped their black tank or urine bucket or something at our site before us b/c all we can smell is urine on the back side of our trailer : ( Wahweap Marina and campground is SO VERY close for fresh water and dump needs (need NP pass or pay fee to enter during daytime hours) or travel a few miles further north on 89 to the Pilot station. Great location with easy in and out to go adventure or get supplies. Sign says 3 day max.

Report Check-In

Great spot with a great view, no fee as of now. No fires / wild camping. Close to gas stations and Walmart.

Report Check-In

Nice spot to stop. There are signs that say $14 per night, but there were no envelopes in the self pay box. Not sure if it is something they are just randomly checking or if it is still free due to COVID.

Report Check-In

Perfect place, accesible, close to the road. You have the best views ober the lake. Amazing sunset and sunshine views!!

Report Check-In

So much better than the 14$ Beach at Powell lake.. no amenities but it’s for free and the views are amazing! Arrived at 6.30 pm on a Wednesday and 2 places were free :) when our neighbor turns his generator off it would be even quite silent, the traffic isn’t that noisy, anyway it’s way better than walmart :D

Report Check-In

just as described. 14 day limit with 6 sites available. big rig friendly. practically across the street from South Wahweap NRA entrance and a few miles from downtown Page, AZ. no fires and it was full at 8pm on a monday. great views but windy/hot and a bit of noise from the road. stone picnic tables are available at each site but otherwise no amenities. great spot for exploring Wahweap and Glen Canyon.

Report Check-In

Amazing views, clean. Perfect place to stop for a quick sleep or stay & explore. 14 day limit, no amenities other than a few tables.

Report Check-In

The place was really good. Some other cars parked out of the campung places and no problem. Really great and free. Friendly people around.

Report Check-In

We drove half mile past the beehive camp in four-wheel-drive and found a beautiful spot. Very quiet at night. Around 9 AM the tour airplanes and helicopters start flying over. This is an absolutely gorgeous spot to camp.

Report Check-In

Fantastic Trail near by!
You might get police ticket if you won‘t camp within the marked zones (6 available)
2 cosy nights!

Report Check-In

Great BLM location to stay for a maximum of 14 days. There are 6 numbered sites available with picnic tables. They were are all taken so we parked on the side and a few others did for the night.

Great location to take a long walk and enjoy the few with great photos to be taken.

Report Check-In

Easy place to stay, 6 places only but we arrived late and stood next to it . Nice location, a litre bit too close from the road but ok for one night. Free. 4G.

Report Check-In

Great spot, we’ve spent 5 nights here and it’s been perfect. Right off the road but quiet and easy to access Lake Powell and Page, AZ. 6 spots total with tables and level parking big enough for big rigs.

Report Check-In

very nice site. close to the highway, but surprisingly quite. I didn't know, maybe the sign is new, but there is a sign, that says, that a "portable toilet for campers required". what ever that means for staying with tents.
I spend a very good night here- can recommend it!

Report Check-In

Free! But only six sites.
Half mile from Glen Canyon Dam.
Picnic Tables, but that’s it, nothing else.
Fast Verizon LTE.
Nice free place to spend the night near Page.

Report Check-In

Free camping spots. Nice place for the night, cheaper than the campground close by and quieter/less crowded than the Walmart.

Report Check-In

6 establishes sites with picnic tables. If sites are taken there is a dirt road 50 yards east of Beehive towards hwy89 to a more open field. 14 day limit right off Hwy 89 next to Lake Powell South Entrance.
