Description

MODERATOR NOTE: Place removed because City Ordinance Prohibits camping within city limits. Signs posted and enforced
.....
Great place on top of hill looking over city. May have some viewers making short stops, but during week should be ok. It is exposed, so if windy, may not be comfortable. Drive up is washboard but very doable.

This is private property. You can not camp here. I don’t even think you can hangout. The cops came and cleared everyone out. If you drive 2 miles up the dirt road there is BLM land past the 2nd gate. But that gate was closed when we tried to go. Cops said it opens later in the season.

definitely a late night hangout. rowdy until midnight then it seemed to calm down. lots of vehicle traffic, a couple other campers as well.

Nice view of the city. Some Noise until 11 PM but then the thursday night was really quiet.
The place was dirty mostly with firework's trash. My 4 year old clean it up, 5 supermarket bags full of trash. Please keep it clean. It seems that the trash came for all of the no overnight people but is the least we can do.

Beautiful spot for sunset. Made the mistake of parking here though on a Friday night. Loudest places we have ever parked. Constant flow of teenagers blaring music and creating a rukus. We left at 1:30 am when we couldn’t take it any more.
