Free, 15 sites, tables, grill, pit toilets.. most sites unlevel but plenty of space in level parking lots... we had place to ourselves...
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Passed by, decided not to stay. Not sure which "ranger" has been seen by the previous visitor. At the website it does clearly contain a camping area, so I believe "day use" relates to the non-camping site of the place.
All places have a picnic table and a fire pit. No cell signal.
Have seen one more car which probably was staying there. The road to the area is not the best, uneven gravel, but okay.
there are signs posted that the area is closed from 10pm-4am unless otherwise permitted. a ranger of sorts came by and told me was wasn't allowed to stay overnight there. pretty place, very secluded, no cell service at all so make sure you know how to get back out.
Report Check-Inpeaceful. no one around. river at the end of the sites. no water, pit toilets, fire pits, picnic tables
Report Check-InMeh, not too impressed.
It is quiet, free, and nice stream, but I’m continuing on my journey. Cheers all!
Happy travels.
This is a lovely free camping or day use area alongside a stream; in a rural area with trees and plenty of open areas. All on grass; well maintained. During flood seasons, may not be able to access camping areas, but can park o/n in picnic area as well. Toilets, picnic tables; no other services.
