Something not right?

Description

Great spot very quiet considering only 5 miles from the I5 interstate. Very clean bathroom with coin operated showers. Park for the kids and hiking paths attached to campground with Mount St. Helens visitor center directly across the street. Price is a bit steep at 20-30 dollars depending on the size of the site.

We stayed in the full hookup T sites, which are all pull-thru. Washington State Park prices for full hookup sites are some of the highest I’ve seen. I think we were $45/night. Power and water post was nicely done and substantial. Sewer port was well placed and easily accessible. Beware, T sites are not private or secluded; not even a line of shrubs between my campsite picnic area and the street side of my neighbor’s rig. Because of this my neighbor was at my site talking it up every 30 minutes. Didn’t feel so much like a state park, but more like a private campground. Wood was for sale nearby, cash only. And a shower house was nearby and kept very clean.

Fairly quiet for being mostly full. The sites are pretty close together and the roads through are narrow. Otherwise as described. We stayed one night in what looked mostly like a tent site. No hookups for $27.

Beautiful and peaceful; although it was pretty pricey. It was self check-in with only a couple of other campers, a few of which looked like permanent residents.

Tall evergreens (good luck, solar). Near Mt St Helens. This is true Washington. Mountain air, aka cold. Camp sites are large. Clean bathrooms. Full hooks up and tent camping all tougher (no patriarchy). Late check in via phone was very nice and helpful…must not have been state employee. Super quiet campground. Slept in until 9 am. Count on no cell reception. Main issue with campground was price. Most expensive state park we’ve stayed at.

Quietest park we have ever stayed. Beautiful. Tall evergreens everywhere (good luck, solar). True Washington. Close to Mt St Helens. Clean bathrooms. Nice mix of full hook up spots and tent spots (no patriarchy). Main issue is price - most expensive state park we’ve stayed at and pricing structure is confusing. Costumer service via phone for late check-in was very nice and helpful…could not have been a state employee.

Avoid the sites in the loop with sites 57+. The logging trucks start blasting down the road at 3:30am, and those sites get hit with a ton of road noise.

Good state park that is open ALL YEAR. one bathroom open, some loops closed but still like 40 spots open and only 1 other camper out here. Showers are on but token machine broken. Check with camp host. $2 for 12 minutes. $20 night winter rate no hook up, $30 electric water, $35 full h/u. Great stop to see mt Helen's in am when all the other free spots on the road don't seem legal.
Most of the spots have no cell coverage but site 18 had 1 bar 4g. 5 bars 4g at the i5 exit though in town 5 miles away. Mushrooms abound!

nice sites, fairly private. lots of trees so solar charging may be an issue. somewhat confusing price structure.
