Description

This is the Lost Town of Huayurí which was discovered quite recently. *

To get here it's 4 km of washboard roads but going slowly we could do it fine with our big rig. Maps.me doesn't have all the way to get here but just follow the signs after the old tree you will find in the main road. Once you got the parking lot and the small building, follow the walking path for about 100 m to get to the ruins.
Not sure if because it's Sunday but there was no one when we were here.
Parking lot is leveled and pretty big, this could make a good spot to spend the night. Little wind since it's surrounded by cliffs and very quiet, not a single soul at sight. If you manage to stay here sucessfuly, make sure to add a separate camping entry.
