wild camping here where there is not a living soul. some coyotes are around at night but no problem. Following a recent hurricane, the entrance requires now really high clearance but there is another track on the right 100m further.

Came here to get off the road before dark. Turned out to be a pretty good spot. Large area with many areas to park on hard solid ground. We did park on the leeward side of bushes and could hear the coyotes.
Report Check-InThe last 2 free of charge points weren't accessible for us (4×4 needed and higher clearance than 30cm) given the damages caused to the road by the recent hurricane (san felipe to here took us cca. 3h) so we stopped here instead next to the road on this flat land. A track seems to lead to a cabin on the shore. It was quiet throughout the night. Be careful there are some patches of soft sand in some parts.
Report Check-Inthe entrance to the original road to get there requires really high clearance (we have 30cm and you'd need a good 10/20 more) following the recent hurricane whilst the rest of the tracks seemed to be OK. Wee stopped a little further on the right where a path starts and you can make it with normal clearance. As they are rebuilding the road things may change again in the coming months.
