Angola
Toyota dealer—very welcoming.
Didn’t charge for (3 hour) examination of Troopy noises. No mechanical faults, no charge!! Wished us well in our journey :-)
Btw, like many bigger Toyota dealerships, free WiFi along with clean toilets and ac :-)
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Things have changed, it’s now CFAO…
So basically don’t go there.
We came with a list of parts to change (with Toyota diagrams and ref numbers). Ideally we wanted to have them changed there. We spent 2h of paperwork, with a dude checking our sound system while what we needed was bearings and drive shaft… it’s the procedure they say.
They asked us about how we would pay before even talking about the mechanics.
We refused to pay for a diagnostic (70’000kw) before we could speak to a mechanic, but they did it anyway (for free). They put the car on the lift, checked everything in 5 minutes without willing to talk with us about what we knew had to be changed.
An hour after, we had the quotation: 2’500’000kw just for the parts… basically they wanted to change everything that had a bit of rust…
After these 3h of nonesense we asked them to buy only the spares we needed (the one on our diagrams) and had to start the whole process again at the spare parts counter.
Finally, they do not accept cards, but we had a nice employee willing to take our euros and pay with his card.
Lots of effort for very expensive (but genuine) parts. Do yourself a favour and don’t waste your time here, unless you really need genuine parts (if they have them of course…)
