Big turn out in Los Padres National Forest, easy to access (same level as the paved road). This spot is huge, enough room for 3 cars/tent, or a RV. Windy at night, quiet when we went there, right to the road but no traffic after sunset. Note that the paved road to access all these ivorlander spots can be very steep!

As far as turnouts go, this one was really awesome actually! Plenty of space and good distance from the road. Good cell service with T-Mobile. Footpaths going up the hill for awesome views, and it seemed like access to either an old road or a trail. We only stayed one night, but I'd be down to spend multiple here. Some traffic noise at night, but not enough to keep me up.
Report Check-InAvoid the Painted Cave Rd. entrance to this area if you’re in anything other than a small van. Very switch-backey, narrow, and steep (but fun!) also a 12ft max as you go under a rock.
All side roads in this area are closed at time of writing due to recent weather, making these spots inaccessible, but there are a couple turnouts available westward on E Camino Cielo that would work well. Make sure to check the Los Padres website for closure status before arriving.
Report Check-InAs mentioned by others the road up is steep and windy, but doable for a 25 foot RV.
Nice open 80 x 60’ space.
Not much traffic at five in the afternoon and we’re hoping to get a good nights sleep.
Park and sleep Beautiful don’t want to leave. No camping or fires except in authorized campgrounds. Permit required for camp fire and use of camp stove. Authorized camping $30 night. Fire permits are free.
Report Check-InCurvey road goes up to this point- maybe to curvey for some big rigs. There are two pull off's on both side from the road. Very quiet at night and a wonderful view to Santa Barbara. Very nice spot, stayed two nights here :-)
in the whole area it's not allowed to make any kind of fire! (fire pit, BBQ etc )
