Description

Beautiful spot next to the lake, absolutely calm and quiet. There are two picnic tables, a pit toilet and a fire ring. Even a big rig would fit in one of the places.

beautiful spot! good for bigger rigs as well.

Site 12 is one of 60 sites in this DEC campground. Lots of amenities for $20 per night. The sites are pretty reasonably spaced, many with lake views and/or access. Going thru Reserveamerica is a ripoff. They charge booking fees, and change fees. If you cancel, you forfeit essentially all fees. Although the website showed nearly no open sites, there were many, so it may be worth checking at the gate, even if it looks full. ATT was spotty, and at best weak, slow, and unreliable.

There are two sites at the end of the road, one directly on the waterfront and the other set back about 40 yards. There is a 3rd site a couple hundred yards from the lake as well. Beautiful location with minimal to no cell service.

Beautiful lake, stayed right on shore, one of our best views yet. Some low hanging trees coming in, dirt road but maintained. Verizon and T-Mobile had one bar. Grab your fishing pole, pull out your book and enjoy.

Really nice spot with plenty of open sites. Also want to mention if anyone finds a yellow hydroflask with a bunch of cool stickers please email me at [email protected]. I can offer a reward for its return :)

Nice spot with a nice view of the lake. Late in the year so it was pretty quiet with only a few cars coming down and looping around to leave.

Arrived late parked my van and slept. Could hear the bullfrogs from the lake and was shady which made for a good sleep. Noticed upon waking up there was an unoccupied tent in the site. Good spot to kayak, no one else in the lake

Beautiful spot next to the lake and a close shower option

Report Check-In

We came in late at night, there was still some snow on the road but not impassable. At least 2 sites, we camped right on the lake plenty of room for a few cars and tents. Nice picnic table and fire pit, although the wood was quite wet. The outhouse is in good condition.

Report Check-In

Arrived late afternoon Saturday during the summer. As expected all spaces were occupied. Good communication between day use and overnighters for parking and I was able to stay here for the night. Turns out locals occupy the best places near the water with old tents and chairs but don’t actually camp overnight. Verizon reception was very poor. I could receive a text but not send a text

Very nice place! We were 4 SUV with trailer and took only one spot. Very spacious and quiet.
