The drive down was a bit rough with many potholes so drive slow! Not suitable for trailers.
Really amazing views and very remote. Didn’t see a single person all night or into the morning. Great opportunity for a roaring fire. Very few bugs. Windy at times. Would stay here again.
Report Check-InInteresting and remote. arrived early evening before another few people arrived and promptly left. Being on a "beach" during low tide is a great place to walk for quite a ways. No amenities but the view (if it hadn't been raining) amazing. Room for 2-3 trucks.
Report Check-InBit difficult to get to (bumpy road, but drivable in 2nd) but the place is beautiful and very secluded. Fantastic views of the river and the tide.
Report Check-InAs others have said, clearance needed. There’s a concrete pad near the wharf that we parked on. Size a of a football field and level. Be careful, metal and rebar sticking up in places.
Location seems frequented by locals. Burnout marks, scrapes of tires, rubbish.
Two cars came down and hung out at the wharf during the night but all quiet in the early morning.
If you want the warf and using a mapping app, take the road straight, not left! The road in green for warf, road in red for sand pit.
Report Check-InForget it if you don’t have a 4x4. We tried it with a Rialta and it was impossible! To rough for the vr and car!
