According to USFS this is closed to camping for the first mile of the road. I didn't mark it as closed, because I guess if you want to go in a mile or more you can camp.
Rocky road with a few spots less than 1/2 mile in, difficult for anything larger than van. Only 2-3 spots for ClassA or C. Wild Salt Lake horses come they daily as well as coyotes. beautiful sunrises and sunsets. LOTS of ATV's and dirt bikes all hours of day and night stirring up dust with little to no regard to land or campers. Gate is locked with code easily accessed thru tonto national forest website for bulldog canyon. 6$ for 6 months!
Gate must stay closed to protect
horses. Hidden gem 1/2 mile north off Bush Hwy is Pebble Beach to watch wild horses and fish!
