Something not right?

Description

First exit pass US71 going west bound on I-30. RV parking is marked, it’s on the far side of building. Keep straight to the end of the parking lot and turn left. Do not turn right like the sign shows, stay straight. Looks like there is no place to turn straight ahead but there is. Only 4 spaces. Nice area, but traffic is only 100 yards so some noise.

Latest Check-Ins

Nice stay! Felt very safe. RV area separate from trucks, so less truck noise. But, like other have said, very close to I30, so lots of traffic noise, didn't bother us; quiets down around midnight. Did not get a chance to check out bathrooms. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to overnight. The previous check-ins were right on. The rv area was empty so we parked there but it filled completely up with semis over night. Next time would park our vans in the car area. It’s closer to the highway, but I think would be more peaceful. Either way, I recommend it!

Wonderful rest area with plenty of space to walk around, stretch your legs. 24 hr bathrooms - clean and convenient. Well lit w/ video surveillance, felt very safe all night.

Report Check-In

If you plan on staying overnight, arrive early as the RV spots fill up fast. 24 hour bathrooms had some dirty stalls, but also some clean ones. Well lit area that seemed safe. Some road noise but not too bad overall. Arrived at 5:30pm and left at 9am. Stayed here overnight in overlanding SUV towing a utility trailer.

Report Check-In

24 hour bathrooms available. Lots of spots available.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for the night in my converted camper van. Well lit and clean bathrooms. There is little road noise.

Report Check-In

Arrived after 11pm after a long day of driving. Grabbed a regular (non-RV) parking spot next to two other apparent overnighters. Slept soundly until 7am or so and hit the road shortly thereafter. Facilities were typical rest area facilities. Felt safe, was not bothered. Road noise wasn’t too bad on the back row of parking.

Report Check-In

Well kept rest area with a 24hr restroom, plenty of light at night, and additional parking for vans/cars.

Report Check-In

Well-lit, in town, with 24hr bathrooms. I was not alone, many vehicles had decided to stop for the night, or a quick nap. As a solo female, I felt safe here.

Report Check-In

Quiet, clean, well lit, pretty much as good as it gets with rest stops. I stayed here on a Monday and had the parking lot to myself. If you can fit into a parking spot, you’ll have plenty of room. For bigger RVs space may be limited.

Report Check-In

Nice rest stop just over the state line plenty of parking for trucks, cars and RVs. It was late when I pulled in but restroom was open. The grounds are nice and well lit.
