The Fibwe Public Viewing Area is a grassy clearing in the reedbed, with benches set around the edges, which provides a fantastic view of the straw-coloured fruit bats as they leave the forest at sunset/return at sunrise (Oct-Dec only). The view is truly breath-taking.
The short walk from the car park to the viewing area should be accompanied by a guide as there may be hippos. Can also be a bit wet underfoot.
