Description
If you are traveling on Hwy 380 in Eastern New Mexico make your way to Tatum, NM’s city Park. FREE, FREE, FREE, electric, water, & sewer. Only 4 new poles to hook up to. Looks like they had 5 spots at 1 time, but when they upgraded they cut down to 4. There is a sign that asks you to keep to a 3 night MAX stay. There are public restrooms with running water at Park, about 100 yards from hook-ups. Men’s has 1 urinal, & 1 stall that is not functional due to no maintenance! However the woman’s room has 2 stalls, the 1st & smallest stall doesn’t keep water in tank, & u must bring a bucketful of water to pour in the back to flush. Big stall has no problems. Sinks in both bathrooms, & water turned clear after running for a few minutes. If u gotta go, u got a spot!!! Playground, multiple horse shoe pits, & a full length basketball court with roof & lights! Picnic tables & charcoal grills all over. Flat land & can get pretty windy. 2 Gas stations with high gas prices, a Family Dollar, & a small town burger joint all less than a mile away. Slow paced New Mexico town with more free camping amenities than local attractions. Thanks to City of Tatum for the love to me & my fellow nomadic travelers!

Report Check-InStayed here with 2 other rigs. Quiet, not much road noise or activity in the area. Free electric hookups, and a water spigot is available on building next to RV lot. Maximum 3 nights stay. Located next to large shaded park with picnic tables and playground
