R270 per night for up to four adults in one vehicle. Credit card accepted.
Heated pool is nice. Shop well equipped. Good ablutions & laundry. Restaurant okay. Plenty of shade and nice wildlife encounters (warthogs, kudu, genet and more).

Cameras everywhere so the manager is watching. Good security but when we unknowingly ’broke the rules’ by letting our day visitor friend swim with us, they waited until she got in the water (watching on camera), then sent a security guard to tell her she had been summoned to the management office for creating a big problem. It’s quite far so she had to drive there, dripping wet in a swimsuit, to be told she is not allowed in the pool, even if she offers to pay. The ridiculous part being that not only was there no other person in the entire pool area, but our campsite fee permitted up to 4 on the pitch (we were just 2), so they could have just added her to our booking instead of being petty and make us feel like naughty school children!

Report Check-In

What a surprise. I wasn't expecting much from such a large and evidently busy facility. Large stands, plenty of space and shade, good walks and an efficient laundromat with brand new washing machine and tumble drier. R250 per night was reasonable. They also have long stay rates.

A nice clean campground with ample spotless ablution facilities. An excellent stopover between gauteng and Orpen gate en route to Satara. Beautiful heated and coldwater pools. R250 per stand per day. Superb value for money.

Le plus beau et le moins cher des campings depuis notre arrivée en AFS (250) rands pour 1nuit, 2 personnes.

the most beautiful and cheapest campground so far since we've bien in SA. Moreover exceptional location in the mountains next to the Blyde River Canyon

An upmarket campsite which the seniors like…many caravans and very large tent trailers that look like a house.
Paid r713 for site for 3 nights for our rooftop tent. It’s very quiet as the seniors retire early and wake up late. Hence, doesn’t have the vibe of an overlander’s camp.
The facilities are very clean and grand.
Would return again for a very quiet break.

Okay for during the week, but Weekend price is double, 460 for 2 pax (they charge per site which can be used for up to 4 people)

Even the Camp was empty they charged the full price.

Hiking trails overgrown.

Otherwise all clean and good well maintained.

Big campsite for truckcamper also, bricked and grass places under big trees for affording shade. Clean ablution, hot shower, dishwashing area, laundry, electricity and braai at every place. The pool is very nice and big, the shop is well assorted, the restaurant is ok.
