Great place to relax. It offers water, electricity, cold showers and clean bathrooms. It also has a good restaurant and an exclusive path to the beach, 800 meters from the town. The owners are very friendly and so are the staff.

We didn't stay here as it was 20$ and nothing special. We went to Bambu where you pay 12$ for 2 people and they have a pool and a much nicer vibe!

A lovely very relaxed place , decorated and arranged with a lot of love for details.
You have everything you need here! A restaurant, direct access to the beach, washing and drying clothes possible, Canoa only 500m away-great by foot on the beach.
We had some car issues and ended staying 10days. Our car was fixed at their place by Miguel , a good mechanic known by the owners Maija&Peter.
Thanks again to Mija&Peter and their verry friendly stuff.
We had a great time! Nice meeting you!

$20 to park in a parking lot, no toilet paper, overpriced food. Lots of USA people come at night for dinner.

Cannot recommend. Go to Bambú in Canoa instead.

Best overland campground ever! We couldn’t imagine a better place to relax for a couple of days. Maija & Peter and their staff are amazing hosts. We had a fantastic time here.

When we arrived they told us to pay 20 dollar per person per night to sleep in our own campervan. Way to expensive to sleep on a kind of parking lot. No sea view. We left.

Excelente lugar, muy cómodo, limpio y con adecuado mantenimiento. Tienen un jardín hermoso, mesas y asientos de troncos de Samango, espectaculares.

Las facilidades para camping y RV´s son muy buenas, así como el alojamiento en las habitaciones, de requerirse.

Muy buena comida en el restaurante (abierto de jueves a domingo) cuando no queremos cocinar.

Super nicer setup, $10 pp. Not sure about prior review but we had a nice place to camp which wasn’t the parking lot (see photo). Compared to Punta Prieta this is luxury for the same price! Check with owner on pets as he has three dogs and it depends on yours as much as theirs.

We wanted to camp there, but the places for campers are at the main parking lot for guests. As we have a Defender and want to cook and sit outside, we decidet to go, because $20 for sitting at a parking lot between street and apartments is too much. The sea is not visible from there. We could not find any outdoor kitchen as mentioned above.

Nice place it’s à paradise we aren’t in Ecuador. Canoa is at 10’ by feet but very noisly and hugly. Peter and mailja are very kindly we stayed 2 nights we paid 15$ each night for Twitter people Good béer everything are nice except the shower that is outside without Warm water but you can whash. Come on it’s wonderful. the beach is at 150meters. Laïla Lucien

Really beautiful and nice place outside Canoa, quiet and lovely location with direct access to the beach. Only 10 minutes walk to the village with several bars, restaurants and shops. Maija and Peter, a young couple from the states are nice hosts and speak english and spanish. Overlander are very welcome.
You can use the covered outdoor kitchen with seating, hammocks, shower, toilet, good Wifi, fireplace, electricity, also suitable for big rigs. 20 $/ night for 2 pers.
They also have suites to rent from 75 to 125 $ per day.
