This is Manuela’s home, and she has five or six spots for overlanders (any size). Still 100 pesos a night, no electricity, but decent wifi considering where you are (no service). Place is pretty quiet, close to a military checkpoint, lots of wind.

Fantastic wifi. I was the only one staying there, cheap, ate dinner which was good but not the best, she took 100 pesos for me and my truck.
Rockhounds, I highly reccomend wandering around in the hills accross the highway. Lots to look at.

only ones here but felt really safe. as others have stated, some trucks at night but relatively mellow.
bring a little extra food for their dogs as they are sweet but malnourished.

Good safe spot to spend a night. We stayed here in our 30ft travel trailer. 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs. Paid 100 pesos. Fully fenced and gate closes over night. Owners are older couple, very nice ppl. They have a little home restaurant inside and wifi. Looks like there used to be full hook ups. Not anymore.
It is right off the hwy, so you can hear the trucks overnight. They have 2 dogs on the property that bark at night - apparently there are lots of coyotes around. The dogs were nice and didn’t bother us nor our dogs.

Mascotas permitidas.

We stayed a couple of days since we work remotely and in the area there is no mobile signal. Wi-Fi very stable, we work without problems. We visited several overlander points near the Cataviña and it seemed the best. 100 pesos per car. Pet friendly.
