Dirt road to get there is 2 miles and very corrugated. Vault toilet was new but medium-clean and out of toilet paper (maybe we caught it right before cleaning!) No mosquitoes that we saw! No one else was there and it was very quiet.

Stayed a night. It's a small lot so wouldn't recommend big rigs. Busy for boaters, was never really alone unless it was late night. In the morning I could hear people talking about my bus, curious. Didn't really like the vibe so I left. Good for a night, not much to do. Did see a deer though.

parking lot for the boat launch. but it's also a campground. brand new pit toilet

Report Check-In

Had the site all to ourselves but it's basically just a parking lot for a boat launch. Signs say 10 day camping limit and "no unattended campfires".
Put some chairs up by the river to watch the sunset. Gorgeous.
Avoid wandering on the right side of the boat launch (right side from the entrance), we were covered in ticks in seconds over there.

Pit toilet is finished and parking lot is freshly graded!

quiet but stinky, outhouse still under construction, 10 day camping limit. got freaked out by some weirdos showing up at 1am idling their truck and shining bright lights directly on us, eventually they left.

Report Check-In

We didn’t stay, construction of a new toilet block was happening and they said the site was closed. No real view of the river, small area.

Report Check-In

Simple and quiet parking lot surrounded be bushes and trees. One other truck pulled up and stayed the night also. Perfect for a quiet night’s stay.

Report Check-In

As reviewers noted it’s a boat launch and parking area. There’s a lot of shrubs and trees screening you from the road and road is very quiet. It’s fly season here so not good to hang outside. Convenient to Twins if you’re visiting or getting supplies. Being next to the river there’s a long switchback, gravel road traveling in from the east. Some Verizon data but slow, and we had T-Mobile cell/sms service but no data.

Very quiet and nice place to camp along the snake river

Report Check-In

Basically just a parking lot with a boat ramp. We stayed here in Oct and had lots of flies all over our camper which made it impossible to open the door without letting hundreds of them in. No cell service. Very quiet.

Tents will enjoy the little private area next to river. The road leading here from the west was great pavement. East of here had some gravel road, possibly under construction and a steep switchback to get out of the valley. There's a U-pick orchard across the street with a variety of fruits. Unsure of it's opening months and days but it was open now, in September.
