Steps to the beach. Sleepy little area. Flat gravel parking. We're in front of a empty lot but the locals said we could park anywhere in this area. A few seafood restaurants right on the beach. Toilets available but probably for a few pesos. Showers are advertised at Mar y Arena for $10mxp but they looked under repair. Great stretch of beach and the waves are outside our window. Verizon 4g strong.

Le petit parking est fermé définitivement. ils construisent une petite
Report Check-Innice place to stay overnight but absolutely no reason to stay longer. beach almost nonexistent, water is dirty. could be temporary due to weather. strong Telcel, open sky for Starlink. some locals drinking at night but neither loud nor stayed till late
Report Check-InQuiet nights stay, steps from the beach, felt secure + locals were nice. Easy to park our truck/camper, walked the beach with the dogs + enjoyed a good nights rest. No cost to park ~ bathrooms would likely cost you some pesos but we had our own.
Report Check-InStopped here because we were too late to make it to our planned spot further down the coast, and ended up staying an extra night because it was so lovely. We spoke to the same man the last poster mentioned, who owns a seafood restaurant/motel. He's older, with the voice of a lifelong smoker and a great "grandfatherly" personality. He told us to pull up near the restaurant and knock on his hotel door if we need anything during the night, and even invited us for coffee in the morning.
All of the locals were so incredibly friendly and helpful, despite our limited Spanish. It was a lovely 2 days here and we felt very safe.
Despite all the good, there was a hurricane that came through here August of 2021, and things are pretty damaged. There are currently no working toilets or showers, and half of the restaurants are in disrepair. If you hope to come any time soon, make sure your rig is self sufficient.
Report Check-InPeaceful and great place to camp for the night. Got there on a Sunday afternoon, a few families enjoying the beach.
Asked a local that was working at a restaurant/hotel (as you enter the lot- turn left- the very end business)- he said it was fine to stay “tranquil “. “Move your van closer to our restaurant “.
Police drove through every hour 9-12pm. Fell asleep feeling safe.
Very nice little village by the beach. The people living here are very friendly. It was a quiet night well spent, listening to the crashing waves. There are a few stray dogs, that are very friendly and cute. The restrooms are 5 pesos to use. And there are showers I think for 10 pesos.
Report Check-InI showed up late to find a tour bus blocking the road. So I parked right on the road. No problems, stayed fo 2 nights. There is a dirt lane with a sign for beach parking. But my Class C was too tall to pass the branches of the tree on on one side. Anything smaller than a Class C could park there. It's a small grass area with track leading to the beach. Would have been more private. As it is, minimal traffic, restaurants right out front. It was a place to stay with no problems.
