Felt safe! First time back on the road in two weeks. Got to stay with a friend in DuPont. Lots of other campers and was only disturbed by the man throwing up at 430am

Report Check-In

This is a super nice rest stop. We stayed at both the north and south bound ones for a night. Signs posted say anything more than 12 hour parking will be prosecuted, but we stayed a bit longer at both locations and weren't bothered.

I will say, it got crowded at night. If you got here later than, say, 9, you might not find a big rig slip. Small cars would be fine.

Also it's such a huge rest stop. You won't hear interstate noise

Report Check-In

Stayed here for a week while traveling through Oregon. Nobody bothered me. Lotta people like hanging out around here but overall safe. I plan on staying here again very soon.

Report Check-In

I stayed overnight after pulling in around 10 PM. There were loads of other cars and vans in all of the lots. I ended up staying in the 2nd lot which seemed to be the most crowded. It was really quiet with the exception of semis rolling through the lot every once in a while. I slept totally fine and was not bothered at all. I didn't use the restrooms but considering one of them was closed and based on the amount of people I bet they were pretty gross. I will probably stay again.

Amazing rest stop! Would stay again, we parked in the first lot because it wasn’t too busy. Comfortable sleep

Report Check-In

Was very busy, but with 3 parking lots, it means lots of space for everyone. Despite being so busy, it wasn’t very noisy, and the bathrooms were clean. Was able to get a good nights sleep just fine.

This rest stop is huge! I parked in the last/third lot, and there was a very big grassy area to let my dog run around. The bathrooms for the 2nd and 3rd lot were closed at night, but were open in the morning. It got very busy later in the night, but other than some semis idling, it was quiet.

I had a weird night, but hopefully this isn't the normal. The women's restroom had blood on the floor, with the stall it came from locked with nobody in it (except a single shoe). I also got woken up at 2:30am by a cop that was blocking me in, questioning the guy that pulled up beside me. They both left after 45 minutes.

This place is HUGE. So many nice wooded areas to run around with your dogs. 3bars 5g w verizon

Report Check-In

Huge! 3 parking lots. Go past all the spaces in lot 1. Turn right to get to lot 2. Pass all the spaces again and turn left to get to lot 3. Back lot was quieter and more park like.

Report Check-In

Parked at Rest area for the night. Additional parking area is little quieter than the main rest area.

Report Check-In

Very cool Grove of the States. However, there were some panhandlers and the bathrooms are gross. Otherwise a nice place to walk the dogs or walk yourself.

Report Check-In

Stayed in the second lot. Bathrooms between 1st & 2nd lot were open. By 9:30 pm the 1st & 2nd lots were almost full. The only downside was a nearby semi that had to run all night. That ended up being quite loud. We should have walked around before settling down for the night to see if there were other spots available since most semi trucks weren’t running so other areas close by were quieter. Overall it was fine for a night & would be very nice with the big trees for shade & tables for picnicking in the summer.

i’m the better rest areas rest areas on 5 southbound. It’s huge. There are three different locks. Don’t stop the at first one, keep driving to the additional parking. definitely worth not hearing The freeway. I had 2/3 bars with T-Mobile.

Report Check-In

Lots of Poke stops and cool historical tree grove.

Report Check-In

I’d recommend the 2nd lot as well. It’s a longish walk to the bathroom if you park in the 3rd lot (because the others are currently closed). Keep in mind the 3 lots are all one-way. Once you get to the end you can’t go back unless you get back on the freeway and take the next exit to turn around.

Report Check-In

This is a great spot! Pretty quiet in the last lot. Good Verizon signal. Dog-friendly. Bathrooms in the second and third lot are currently closed. Note: This place does NOT have water tank refill spot. Spigot is dry and locked.

Report Check-In

Largest rest area I've seen in Oregon. Fairly busy due to it's proximity to Portland but still was able to find a spot in the rear lot with several parking spaces of buffer between me and the next vehicle. Tons of grassy area to run a dog. Excellent Verizon reception.

Report Check-In

Even though it is recommended to go to the furthest parking area, I would say the second parking is a better option.

I am here now at the furthest parking area, while I didn't hear the interstate traffic, the occupants here are noisy with the vehicle doors opening and closing, rumbling mufflers on older vans and RVs, and people just roaming about having conversations with invisible tenants.

Be alert and bring earplugs.

Stayed overnight. Great rest stop. Matched everyone's descriptions. Would recommend

Report Check-In

Lots of parking, lots of people stop here but seems ok for a parking lot type truck stop. Some of the rigs run their engines but it’s fairly quiet

Report Check-In

Yes - huge rest area. Furthest lot is very good. You can hear the traffic noise but much duller. These days middle bathroom block closed and the one here in the back is open 7 to 3. Big grassy area behind this lot for kids to play. Full bars of cell reception for us on Fi with LTE.

Report Check-In

There are 3 parking areas. I thought I marked in the “back” lot but I actually parked in the middle lot. Sleep in the back lot (3rd lot)!

bigger the other side (north) still no coffee like the websites say...
less trees and surprizingly quiet... happy rest stop everyone.. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

i love this stop... been here acouple times... my last stay was great... and tonight i see no issues... love it love it

Report Check-In

Huge rest area with three separate lots, with each lot getting a step further away from the highway. I parked in the third lot farthest from the highway. I stayed until 3pm the next day, the maintenance guy saw me when he opened the back bathrooms at 7am and closed them at 3pm, there were no issues.

Report Check-In

got a knock from the maintenace crew at 7am telling us to leave. wouldn't stay here again...

Great rest area to spend the night, stayed for 1 night. There is an additional park lot in the back further from the highway. Appears there are many other people staying there in other vehicles.
