Description

Overnight parking at Red Hill Road in Los Padres National Forest. We parked along the road. There is no traffic, the view is nice, the place itself is quiet but not beautiful. OK for one night. Continue past the marked spot and there is a nice pull in off the road. Very quiet.

A pull out with a fantastic view. The Dirt Rd., Inn was only just a little rough. We did fine with our truck and trailer.

Wonderful spot. We continued a little further than the marked spot and came to a pull in behind a tree on the right. Great to be off the road and so quiet. Poor phone signal. Nice views too

spent a couple days here. pretty views, only about a dozen few trucks and ATVs pass each day. weak service. remember to leave no trace.

Forgot to say we had good, not great, verizon and att service on our phones at the spot we stayed at, but service seems to vary greatly as you drive through this area. Our t-mobile hotspot had little to non existent service.

We went in a little further than the spot noted here and found a nice big flat open area for the night at the intersection of Fernandez Rd and Red Hill Rd. We came on a Sunday and there was quite a bit of off road dirt bikes and trucks zipping around, but otherwise very quiet. Very quiet overnight. Nice place for a few days. Road in was a bit washboarded but not too bad. We made it ok in our 26ft Class C.

Excellent spot, we didn't go as far as the previous people as we have a 37ft. The road is a bit difficult and turning around a bit tricky with a big rig but doable. Very quiet. We just had about 35 cars passing by at some point, looked like a reunion. Not sure where they were going and to do what but we weren't bothered.
