Absolutely stunning location. The site we were at was not very level, but each one had a beautiful gazebo, a fire pit with grill, mounted logs to sit on around the fire, and an additional charcoal grill (standing height). We never used the pit toilet.

We got our 20’ class B in with minimal issues. There were some soft spots on the narrow gravel road leading up to the site where we sunk in a little. The weather was dry and the wet spots were on high ground, so we didn’t expect them. But we persevered with nonissue.

Had the place to ourself. We took the upper location, which we heard had been washed out the year before due to heavy rain. Apparently it had been maintained since then because there was no evidence of any wash out.

We made the short trek up to the top of the rock walls behind our site and saw the epic views that expanded across the open terrain, with pockets of deep red rock in the distance, and the snowcapped mountains of Bighorn National Park further to the northeast. Words cannot portray the beauty. Would have loved to stay longer and explore all the trails we’ve heard so much about. We recommend 10/10, and will be returning!

Really gorgeous. Calm & peaceful. We were the only ones there. Climbed the rocks near our site in the evening. The morning got very hot so we didn't stay into the day. It got Very dark at night! The vault toilet was stocked with toilet paper & the sites were nice with a grated fire ring & sheltered picnic table. It looks like part of the road was washed/ rutted from rains, but we managed fine in a sprinter van.

Nice quiet spot with 4-5 campsites. Free 14 day stay. Has an outhouse.

everything said, very nice, arrived 2 pm, at 6pm spaces full, worth the detour 10km from Highway, road is not bad, night sky fantasic, do not go if raining

Wonderfully tranquil spot. As described campground with 4 spots + pit toilet. One of the best layouts for a campground, all spots separated and tucked away so you feel you have the place to yourself. Dark skies and very peaceful energies. Beautiful rock formations encircling the campground. Very relaxing place to rest your head. Road easily navigable by any vehicle.

This campground is a remote unique stay. Dirt road in has some bumpy areas but our travel trailer made it!! It’s surrounded by rock formations with some short trails and a clean single toilet. The 4 sites have shade structures, tables, grills and fire pits. No water or rubbish bins, so be sure to pack in and pack out. Arrived and no one was here. At night it was so quiet with the exception of lovely crickets and some birds squawking every now and then.

If you come during a storm, prepare for insurmountable winds! Propane stove is struggling. Peaceful and Gorgeous as advertised!!! There are bats mountain lions and prairie rattle snakes in the area although we only have seen the bats so far. It's definitely wild!!!

BEAUTIFUL. Arrived around 2am and watched the stars before falling asleep. We went to campsite number 3 I believe. Can’t wait to see it in the daylight.
Campsites 1&2 were empty as well so don’t believe it’s too popular of an area. Verizon cell service - 1 bar. Spotty AT&T service.

Truck camper with ATV is my rig and this is paradise. Endless atv trails thru simply amazing scenery in the foothills of the big horn mountains. The town of Ten Sleep is awesome. Tied one on at the Big Horn bar and got lunch the next day at the Sleepy Coyote diner. No cell signal behind the rocks so I stayed on the road and used the fire pits in the rocks which was very cool. Climb to the top if your bold. Great campsite. I hope to return. Spent four days here.

This is a beautiful BLM campground. It is quite with exceptional rock out crops. Clearly worth a couple nights stay.

Beautiful site as described. Cell reception two bars.
The road from here going south takes you through peaceful scenery. These backroads bring you (only during dry weather) to Thermopolis, some sections require good clearance.

absolutely stunning land and views. 4 spaces, all about 1000’ apart in a quiet valley. Site 4 have a long drive which is good, because there is a small rut across it within 75’ of the actual site that you’ll need a 4x to cross it.

We had the whole place to ourselves. Amazing. Go chill on the bluffs above with some coffee or spirits and enjoy!

*Update: It was so relaxing that we stayed a 2nd night. The place is one of the most noise pollution absence places that I’ve visited! Even when you see a plane in the sky, it’s barely noticeable by ear. Truly great.

This place was absolutely gorgeous. Only intended to stay for one night and stayed an extra day. Toilet on premises but otherwise wild camping. Ten Sleep Brewery is 6 miles away and worth a stop!

This is really a very beautiful place. Very clean and quiet - we loved to walk around in the very unusual rock formations. We spent four night and did not have any other camper. In our opinion a top place if you are looking for a quiet place. Gad even AT&T reception on top of the hills Recommended.

Nice BLM Campground with lots of space between the 4 sites at the beautiful rock formationsl of Castle Gardens at the end of a 6 mile gravel road which was in good shape. We were the only people there.
