Description

.....
Amazing place near the lake with “private” beach, Just go off the road (after a curve) and take a small road down. It is bumpy in the beginning but ok with 2WD. Few flat spots, not suitable for big rigs, be aware of your car and belongings. It's only to stay during de daylight, it's forbidden to make a fire in this area.

Near the lake you have a nice grassy place with nice view. There is an old building, almost falling apart. Not visible from the road. You hear the cars, but not very noisy.

This a forbbiden place to camp with tent or with a vehicle, the national park put you fines if you remain during the night.

Beautiful place next to the lake. Lots of locals come here and unfortunately leave a lot of trash. We cleaned the mess and enjoyed this nice place. Most locals left around 5 PM.
Some young people hang around on the beach at (friday) night but weren't noisy at all.

Very nice place : access to the lake, wonderful view on the mountains. Hidden from the road, even if you're not far and hear it. The access road is not very good (but very short) : we saw a city car doing it. You can find more private spots following the paths. We saw two other cars during the day but we were alone at night (week day). We really liked this spot !

Beautifull place great view but lots of toilette paper ... seems to be a place to enjoy the weekend night because lots of fire pitch. but we had nobody, just noise from the road. Entrance ok with a 2wd, just take it easy

Buen lugar para permanecer, cerca de la Ruta 40 y con acceso al lago. Tranquilo. Muelle viejo en deshuso. Varios espacios. Sucio.

A really nice place to spend a night. Some locals to swim in the (for us) cold lake. one other overlander with us to spend the night. Much better than the overpriced campsites.

Report Check-In

This place is so nice we ended up staying here two nights. Very easy to access from the road (suitable for any car) but it's hidden and right on the lake. The only problem we had were mosquitoes in the evening.
Also please take your rubbish away with you, the place is beautiful but could be cleaner!

We LOVED this little space and ended up staying for three nights. Peaceful and undisturbed. Beautiful views across the lake and we couldn’t hear the road. We managed to make it in a 2WD camper just fine and parked on flat(ish) ground down and round to the right. 4G signal. Please take your trash with you! ❤️

we were here one month ago during high season ad it was full with people, so no it was great being all alone here. wind blowing hard at night but the angle was so that the trees kept us safe, spent two nights right on the water.
the entrance is not for big rigs but if you pass the road than there is an ok open parking. has cell reception (claro)

This place is nice to visit during the day to take a swim, but was just okay to overnight. There are very flew flat areas to park even our medium-sized rig. There was a family of locals camping nearby, and we had an odd encounter with a guy on a motorcycle who was looking for his friend (but really freaked us out at first), but after that it was a quiet night. People started arriving at 9:30-10 AM on a Sunday to get their asados started, so know that this is a popular spot for locals.

We moved north 300 mts and found a better place, better hidden, more private.
So we stayed their for 3 nigths.
Our own private beach!
Some firepits and grassy areas por the tents.

Great place, ground not that flat but amazing view in the morning.
There are others places if you take the first left after the small descente, go straight and check if you like.
Thx for sharing.

Excellent descriptions above, I confirm this is an excellent spot to overnight. Access road a bit steep for 2wd but very short, check first by foot if unsure.

We really liked it! Always empty, even on weekends of high season.

This spot is perfect for a one to two night with two tents max stay just as you past Bariloche on your way to El Bolsón. Decently close to the road but was very quiet at night. Highly recommend!
