Camping João Míneíro is the closest camping for visiting Tiradentes old town, 20 minute’s walk. Used to be owned by Hans, a Swiss guy who speaks German, English and Portuguese and still lives on the property. Now (10/17) new and friendly local owner. Very helpful.

Clean toilets. WiFi useless slow. Showers at the moment only in one of the rooms. Still 25 pp and 10 p car. We moved to Camping Tiradentes and had all facilities working and found it nicer for the same priceReport Check-In
Nice camp, water & electric and clean toilets. No wifi, I liked talking to Hans (new owners not around?) until he kicked the 2 kittens I was petting while having coffee. Then I thought to myself, who kicks kittens? A douche.Report Check-In

A beautiful camp site about 30 minutes walk from the historic town centre. Flat sites for tents. Plenty of room for vehicles. Fire barrels on site. Very friendly owner who even washed our clothes for us. 3 of us paid only 120 Reis for 2 nights.
