Description

Wild, secluded place by the river. Surrounded by forest, lots of firewood, clean river, some views of the mountains.

To get there, take the first right just after the bridge on RN7 (beginning presently on OSM map, continues further along the river, keep straight at the small junctions). The gravel road is in good condition, doable in 2wd. Our spot is around 2km from the main road, You may find similar/better spots upstream.

Would not recommend staying in rainy season as there are signs that the river sometimes reaches the beach.

still accessable but there seems to have works at the beginning of the track

toujours accessible mais il semble d'avoir les travaux au début de la piste

Very beautiful beach, one other tent, blue water. On our second, sunny day we had our best beach day yet! Very nice.

Report Check-In

Great spot, highly recommend. Two large tents and a van in total along the river when we were there and because of how much space along the riverbank there is, it still felt quiet and private. Probably even more spots further up. When driving in from the road, at the first fork in the road keep straight.

Report Check-In

Just as beautiful as described, we were there alone for the entire evening and next morning.

Report Check-In

What a nice place! Only a short drive, several spots to choose from.

A magical place. Beautiful river. Lots of driftwood to make a fire. Secluded. Some cows came to the beach in late evening. A surprise (not sure where they came from), but it was some company in this special quiet spot for the evening :) A highly recommended wild camp spot. Make the effort to get there - only about 1.5km from the road.

great place, i liked it a lot, quiet and beautiful!

Report Check-In

Well worth the short ride (exactly 1.3km on my bike computer). there was one other cyclist when we arrived at 5pm, and only 2 vehicles and 1 motorcycle passed during the evening. River was too cold for more than a pits and bits wash. There were a few mosquitos so keep the tent closed.

it's really a beautiful place.. we spent one night here.
when we just camped our van, 2 other vans/cars showed up. luckily there was place for the 4wheel drive on the beach, so that we could stay on the harder grounds. the other van parked a few meters away.
the water was really freezing, but o so beautiful.
we had a quiet night.

Report Check-In

Didn't spend the night because I had to keep going further south, but was a nice spot for lunch and relaxing for a bit on the river with no one around.

This place is just as advertised beautiful beach with nice spot for camper van or more! Road in is doable I’m 2 wheel drive ! Great location!

Absolutely stunning location, hidden gem.Take a bath in the river, sit by the fire at night. Love it! ❤️

Report Check-In

Very nice spot by the river. The access can be complicated depending on the vehicle. But the 2 km are worth it.

Report Check-In

Amazing place near the river and at 2km from the main road. We stayed there for 2 nights enjoying the calm and the nature with no one. The river is perfect for a bath even if really cold ! The road to get there is a bit bumpy but we could make it with our 2WD van.

Report Check-In

Fantastic place, ideal for a few days of rest. Wonderful and uninterrupted view, even standing on the edge of a secondary road has no movement at night and very little during the day. Super recommend. Access does not look good for large cars to even be prepared.

Report Check-In

bumpy but managable road with 2WD, stunning paradise!

phenomenal find here. fyi its usually not rainy season perse that causes these rivers to rise, it is snow melt in the spring (which may coincide with rainy season, not sure)

Report Check-In

Great spot indeed! We could go on the beach (we have a 4wd with high clearance) even if it has rained a bit. Spot really clean compared to the one we use to see on the carretera austral. Peaceful place!

Report Check-In

Fantastic place! Very nice beach right on the river, in the sun, plenty of wood for a fire. Exactly as everyone else said.

Report Check-In

Super nice spot right next to the river. There was only one car passing by the whole night. The sandy part is not that big, but we fitted easily with 4 motorbikes and 3 tents. Made a fire and really enjoyed our time there, it gets cold at night though.

Report Check-In

Great spot! Just be careful if you are 2WD, the sand can get deep in some spot. If you do not want to risk it, there are some potential spot on the grass a bit further down the road. Not as nice as you are basically camping by the road, but I didn't see any cars and you can still enjoy the view of the river, which is 5 meters away.

Perfect camping spot!! The best we had on the carretera austral! Drove our camper on the beach. No one here and everything you need is available as described. We love this place and had beautiful weather, stayed for two nights. Place is very clean, please keep it that way! Highly recommended!

This is perfect wildcamping spot! We encountered the owner and he said we could stay at the beach

Big rigs would easily fit the beach but may have problems with the access road.

Would not recommend staying in rainy season as there are signs that the river sometimes reaches the beach.
