Very friendly Posuda (South African/Brazilian) family welcomes overlanders. Parking is in a closed parking area behind the posada (it's probably enough for 2-3 bigger motorhomes) and they provide electricity, water and wifi. You are welcome to use the shower, toilet, fully equipped kitchen with unlimited coffee, tea, biscuits 24 hrs. The beach is just meters away, town centre is 10-15 mins walk with nice cafes, bars, banks, veg and fish market.

Está atendiendo!!!! volvimos después de 3 años y está más lindo, con cocina abierta, café y te libre, sala de estar, baños impecables con agua caliente y la mejor ubicación justo frente a la playa. 40 Reales por personaReport Check-In
Right now (29th Sept 2019) it's closed, I think for refurbishments. Shame, it's a great location on the beach!Report Check-In

a wonderful place to stay! we immediately felt at home. Thanks for the great bbqs, talks, excursions....! it was hard to leave again.Report Check-In
Fantastic place, like all the other comments have said. Very friendly hosts with lots of local knowledge: hikes, breaches, waterfalls etc. We happily stayed there for 5 days.Report Check-In
We highly recommend this little paradise which is 5 meters away from a long beautiful beach in Ubatuba! The posada is very well decorated with a lot of space to relax feel at home, fast internet, and a shared kitchen. We parked in the back of the posada where we could also enjoy a bit of privacy. I recommend staying next to this beach (10 min walk from Ubatuba center) rather than the one at Ubatuba center as it is cleaner and has more charm. You can reach the owners - a very friendly couple with two young boys - on their what's app account +5512997493450
We stayed there one month !
Great place to stay and agree with all previous posts. An update from the owner the place is more a Pousada and not really set up for camping.....plus we ended up paying the same amount, 30pp for a room, excellent kitchen and common area, peace and quiet all right across the road from the beach; as we would of paid to camp somewhereReport Check-In

Highly recommended. The family is wonderful and it was very nice to talk to them. Parked at the backyard with our truck. We enjoyed long walks on the beach just a cross the road from Golfino. Lovely town with endless beachs and nice fish market. We paid 30BR ppn.Report Check-In

small camp area behind pousado. friendly owners. room for 2 large rigs. busy in the season so would book ahead. across the road from the beach. do not use the taubate pass as you will be sent back by police. we learned the hard way. from san paulo turn off at San Jose.Report Check-In
Fantastic place run by the nicest people. Big secure courtyard for motos and recently finished back yard for big rigs. The backyard is well set up with a walkway to the big kitchen and common area. Very reasonably priced private rooms and just meters from the beach, we really relaxed and spent time learning to surf and snorkelling. Magic!Report Check-In
The family is very friendly and helpful indeed, they even managed to find a potential buyer for our bus and stayed cool despite our crazy almost-time-to-fly-home-with-mixed-feelings-mood. They have many interesting stories to share. The backyard is well on it's way (now easy access to the hostal) and besides bunnies now also roamed by a little cat. We paid 30r per adult plus 10r for each child for the breakfast (otherwise kids under 6 are free). Worth a stop also for the beaches, surfing and fish market.Report Check-In
Really recommend this place. The family is super friendly and chatty (the entire family speak fluent english). It rained (we were out of season) for three days straight and it was great to be able to hang out on the balcony or in the open air kitchen and enjoy the storms. There is a laundry room for hand washing, full kitchen, wifi, and a simple breakfast is included in the 30R pp/pn price (for camping out the back). We were the only guests, but it can get super busy in peak. The backyard is a work in progress, but eventually will be a really cool place to hang out. Now it is a gravel lot. We are really glad we came here. We even got to cuddle the newborn bunnies and guides pigs!Report Check-In
It was a great place, We met Nice peoples a couple from Belgique and an other couple from Australia who travel with the same car of us Toyota 4Runner (unbelievable) ! The owners and their son are very nice, Josh (the older son) bring us to a waterfall and We keep going on this river to the beach, beautiful. We had good breakfast and We just pay 30reals each and slept on the car (good bed) but bed start at 50reals wich is a good price in front of the sea. The also learn us how to surf. Good wifi aswell. Nice place, We recomand this place!!! 😁Report Check-In
The parking lot is not the greatest set-up, but the owners (Daryl and Denieci) have plans to clean it up and to install a door to provide easier access to the hostel facilities for overlanders. No height restriction on entry (despite how it might look from the front gate). You could probably also camp here in a ground tent, but it would be nicer to get one of their rooms with an ocean view. Paid R$20 per adult (no charge for our 6 year old son) to camp in our van in their parking area.Report Check-In
