This is wild camping just outside the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park so pack in and pack out. Lots of room for large RVs with OHVs.
Close to the highway.
Numerous accesses along the highway.

Great place. Lots of spots easy access for most RV’s. We have a class C and had no problems. Could see other people but had our own space. Great view of Salton Sea. a bit windy but felt good in the heat
Report Check-InGreat location for big rigs!! We were here during the week and there were 3 other big rigs! Plenty of room for tons for rigs. Very windy the first day.
Report Check-InWe stayed off of one of the other many side roads near this spot. Tons of places to camp with fire rings all over this area. We arrived after dark and parked for the night, and we woke up to a beautiful desert sunrise and canyon/valley views. Cool morning temps despite 90°+ days, and the western breeze kept the smell from Salton at bay. Not bad for a stopover!
Report Check-InAs described by previous visitors, great place for dispersed camping and easy access for all kinds and sizes of rigs. Lots of traffic and road noise in early evening, but tapers off later. Verizon cell service is 2 bars 5G.
There are several roads leading off the highway near here, so probably a number of other options for camping besides this specific site. Got here just at dark so didn’t explore.
This is a great location with epic views! Easy access off the road with good cell reception (ATT & Verizon). It is a windy spot but okay if you sleep in your van/vehicle.
Report Check-InGreat spot if you're in the area. Plenty of open space, lots of areas to hike/bike or use ohv. Super quiet, a little bit of traffic on the road, but barely hear the large vehicles.
Report Check-InGreat views of the badlands and Salton Sea. Just off the highway and only 6.2mi to the Hwy 86 intersection in Salton City. Our stay is particularly (extremely) windy! Verizon LTE 4-bar coverage, too!
