FREE. Homichitto NF has poor signage and roads aren't labeled but we found this spot just south of Bude. The dirt road is west of the hwy and does have a sign there.

I pulled off about 2 miles up from here. Level, quiet with one car passing on a holiday weekend. Lots of fireflies! Easy in and out.
Report Check-InNice pull off on a quiet forest road. Midweek stay heard absolutely nothing - no noises or cars. Half of it was muddy but other half was flat and dry. Hiked a bit down the road and had a nice sunrise. Would stay here again since it’s not far from the highway.
Report Check-InOdd little pull-off from a forest road. Stayed one night. A few cars passed by in the late evening all slowing down as if they passed me. Heard someone exclaim, "There's a car there!". Otherwise peaceful night and morning.
