Description

FREE. Homichitto NF has poor signage and roads aren't labeled but we found this spot just south of Bude. The dirt road is west of the hwy and does have a sign there.

Latest Check-Ins

I pulled off about 2 miles up from here. Level, quiet with one car passing on a holiday weekend. Lots of fireflies! Easy in and out.

Report Check-In

Nice pull off on a quiet forest road. Midweek stay heard absolutely nothing - no noises or cars. Half of it was muddy but other half was flat and dry. Hiked a bit down the road and had a nice sunrise. Would stay here again since it’s not far from the highway.

Report Check-In

Odd little pull-off from a forest road. Stayed one night. A few cars passed by in the late evening all slowing down as if they passed me. Heard someone exclaim, "There's a car there!". Otherwise peaceful night and morning.

Report Check-In

Very quiet turnout on forest service road.
