Report Check-In

i was on the other side up the hill which was a nice spot with good views and more or less quiet minus some road noise. unfortunately ididnt make it through the night due to a pack rat getting into my engine area of my van. i tried to chase it away but to no avail. might have been where i was camped and not the location itself. but not worth a very expensive tow imo.

Report Check-In

Busy place. Hard to find a flat place to park. Little to no cell phone ATT. Got 1-2 bars.

Report Check-In

while i was out today, someone took my red folding chair and tan table. The next day, I put a sign out asking that they return the Chair/table hoping someone thought it was abandoned. The jerks took my welcome mat and the chair bag. They stole the sign too. Watch your stuff and keep a look out for other people's stuff.

Great spot to spend the night outside of Sedona. Relatively quick drive to lots of hiking. Great views from the top of the hill, almost 360 view of the rocks and great for sunsets!! You can hear the traffic from the highway but it’s not too loud, especially at night. Some lights from the road are also visible. The stars are so bright!

The road was not bad- here in early January. Made it up the hill in a Prius.

Report Check-In

Convenient in and out. Big rig accessible, just some ruts in the road to navigate around. Expect a few people doing target practice during the day. There was also a random loud rave one Saturday night that went all night long but was otherwise quiet all other nights. Had limited TMobile service from Cottonwood, but could stream for the most part. Just got dropped from the tower periodically.

Report Check-In

Plenty of room available. Far less busy than nearby FR 525 and no washboard to deal with. Road is pretty rutted out in spots but can be managed by any vehicle. A lot of locals use this area for target practice during the day so it gets noisy with gunfire, but it's very quiet at night. A little bit of AT&T and Verizon although we needed a booster to make them usable for work. Excellent location about halfway between Sedona and Cottonwood.
