Ficamos duas noites. O terreno é um pouco fechado então não corre muito vento, mas há algumas vagas com sombra. Tem energia, água, cozinha, duchas.. pagamos 40 pp, achamos um pouco caro pelo q é oferecido. Os donos nos dão chave do portão para entrar e sair de forma independente. Fomos junto com outros viajantes mas pelo que entendi precisa avisar que está indo pois pode não ter ninguém lá pra receber. Na segunda noite não havia outros viajantes então ficamos completamente sozinhos lá, sem nenhum segurança ou vigia. Pets são permitidos.

We spent almost a week here, it’s a very calm relaxing camping in a nice neighborhood. It’s well maintained and clean. Hot water, running water, electricity, washing machine, wifi. Kitchen and some covered common spaces are available (very useful when it rains a lot).
Very easy to go to Salvador center with Uber too (20/50r depending on the hour)
The person who takes care of the camping is very welcoming, kind and helpful.

Small but nice campsite for motorhomes and campervans. Really hot showers. Can be quite full. Paolo the owner is really helpful and speaks some English. Beaches are close Busstop is around the corner of the bakery 100m away You can get a buses into the old city and it takes about 1.5 hours cost 11 reals.

We’ve been traveling for almost 4 years now and this camping has the most unfriendly, even hostile service we’ve encountered in the whole world!
As we came from the south we planned to take the ferry to Salvador but there was too much wind and we had to wait for 6 hours before we were allowed to get on. So we informed the owner of the camping if it was ok to check in later and that we had friends already at the campsite who could let us in. He confirmed it was not a problem. So when we finally arrived and our friend let us in, a woman (apparently the owner’s wife) started shouting at us that they were closed and couldn’t enter anymore. So we explained and showed her the conversation on WhatsApp. She called the owner and started barking at him, closed the phone, barked at us and smashed the door close just in front of us. 😳
Since than she didn’t speak a word to us. Also their guard just sat there without saying a word for 3 days. When my wife asked him if he could open the gate for us, he just stared at her… Nobody showed us any facility, WiFi, which plugs had 110 or 220V… As this was the only option for a secured camping spot in Salvador, we stayed their for 3 nights… Never again!
Next day we were into town and arrived back at the camping at 18h. Gate was closed and nobody answered when we knocked on the door. We rang the door bell for several times but without result…
After calling the owner again, suddenly his son opened the door of the gate and disappeared again. Apparently his wife and son were at home, but didn’t feel like opening the gate…
Only then the owner told we should have received a key to open the gate and should now receive it soon. Only on the 3rd day finally the guard came to give us a key.
If you want to be treated like crap, you MUST visit this place! You won’t be disappointed!!!

It was not a good experience, the woman who attends does it with a very bad attitude, do not even think about asking for a better price, other travelers had complications with the ferry, they were delayed and did not allow arriving late at night, another person authorized opening the gate and the woman left rude ... Little collaboration, no communication, support people do not say hello, they are only interested in receiving payment, the price is high for a campsite ... We had no other choice in our quick passage through Salvador ... no we recommend this place! @twingo_sudaka_viajero

Local muito legal. Muito bem mantido. Perto de vários restaurantes, mercados, ciclovia, feira às quintas-feiras e praia. Donos super queridos. Boa cobertura de tv aberta e celular (Vivo e Claro). Tem cozinha completa bem montada. Internet boa.

O Camping está localizado bem perto da Praia de Itapuã. Fornece água, luz, banheiros, chuveiro quente e cozinha compartilhada. O casal Paulo e Juliana são muito receptivos.

We came here to hunker down during COVID-19. Paulo away for first week but one of the campers helped us get in and filled us in but left on our 4th day. Paulo speaks done English. Caretaker (who does not speak English) came in daily. R30 pp; no charge for camper. Everything we needed for long stay: good wifi, washing machine, secure, sheltered kitchen, hot shower, 2 other bathrooms - toilets with seats, outdoor cold showers, second small shelter, shops in different directions. 4G Vivo. If you plug into kitchen sockets it's 110V with the ones on the outside walls being 220V. Watch for falling fruit under some of the trees. We stayed 11 weeks and loved having the place to ourselves for ten of those weeks. Highly recommend.

We stayed several days. 110v and 220v, water, showers, toilets. Some shade. Walled area limits the wind. Awesome dogs live there. Fantastic owner on site. He is sooo helpful. Big rigs okay. Dogs okay.

Très bon spot de camping. Tout confort avec des hôtes très sympathiques. Wifi au top mais nous étions seuls. Proche des plages et de bon restaurant. Supermarché à moins de 2000 m.

Petit camping à 20 km du centre de Salvador. Possibilité d’aller dans Salvador en bus ou Uber, prévoir de 1h à 1h30 de trajet. Douche chaude, bonne Wifi.

As for all big cities not easy to find some place to sleep securely...this one is really ok, quiet and door is locked but you have the key. Salvador center is 35mn and 47R$ with Uber. Water, electricity 220v, hot shower but only 1, wifi ok, and Paulo the owner lives here and is very helpfull. 30/pers + 20 for the motorhome. Kitchen with all equipment and TV in a kind of open lounge. Near the beach (100m) and restaurants. No view but you are safe between walls and trees (careful of fruits falling down....)

Nicest place for visit Salvador, near ocean, fish market, perfect beach and supermarket. Very friendly owner Paulo. Clean toilet and shower, fast wifi.

Good place to stay with good facilities. Not so far from salvodor with Uber it’s easy to get in the town and let your truck safe. The owner is very cool ! 30real/pp

We came here for one night and we stayed 3 !
We really enjoyed the place, a big garden with big trees to provide shadows. It is clean, you have access to a closed bathroom with hot water and outside showers as well, kitchen is clean with gas and a little fridge. There is a big supermarket with a short car drive or a supermercardo within a close distance walking.
You can use the washing machine for 10R / wash.
We came with our dog and he enjoyed the place as well. Owners offered to have a look on him if we needed to let him there during the day.
We paid 70R / night for a van and 2 persons (and the dog). Worth it. To reach the historic center, we took an Uber taxi after having walked 2km alongside the beach (cheaper : 45R going, 60R coming back) !
