Description
If you like to have a jungle feeling during camping but still enjoy some confort - this is thr place to go. Donouvan (owner) and his wife build a very nice place in the forest. There are two lodge houses with complete kitchen to rent. And there is a nice place to either set up your tent or put your hamack and have a nice bbq on the grill or sit around the fire during the night - wood is provided. Overlanders can camp down at the river (shower and basic toilet available). WiFi is available at the main house as well as good books about nature of Suriname. www.surinamecamping.com

very expensive place,
$ 60(american dollars) for one night 2 persons in a van. only electricity near the entrance. we did not stay, don' t want to pay this huge amount, so no experience on the campsite.
Very nice place, well mantained. 11 euro per person to camp there. You have to call or whatsapp in advance. On weekends most full booked.
A few kilometers south there are more places with creek to camp, but almost the same price and not so nice.
Nice looking place. Nice people. But we stopped by and learned that no dogs allowed. Updated the listing.
