We took our long, hightop Sprinter across no problem. Costs $1.
Report Check-InArrived at the west side crossing at dusk on 12/6/22. We waited for about an hour while another dozen or so cars queued behind us. The ferry was sitting on the other side so we weren’t sure what a normal wait time was and there appeared to be a shift operator coming on duty and sat in his truck so we continued to wait. Shortly after, we saw a small boat with two workers arrive from the other side explaining that the ferry was broken down. They implied it was a serious failure (rudder, rudder wheel) which could take several days to repair. I noticed Cameron Ferry updates the status on their Twitter page when a mechanical failure or fog occurs so could be helpful to check beforehand.
Report Check-InCar ferry with large parking lot. There is a sign here as seen in pictures advertising RV parking.
Report Check-Innot OK for our motorhome 23 feet, and we saw a sprinter mercedes that they said no for take the ferry... the man said it s because there is a big bump to enter on the ferry...so we have to take an over road...
Report Check-In$1 ferry, not an issue with an attached propane tank or a dog. Easy and didn’t take long.
