great spot and a lovely little town. came in for the farmers market. spent one night. some pull through traffic but nothing that concerned me. couldn't get the wifi. but very nice stay!
Report Check-InNothing to had to the previous comments. We stayed one night. WIFI every where all over the park. Will we were packing up a employes of the city cane to talk about our setup. No word on overnight camping.
Report Check-InNice little park with bathrooms and water spigot. Good put-in to float the May River too. Had a conversation with a local that (in the most Southern way possible) explained that he had stuff stolen from van people and that he would call us in if we stayed longer than the posted 24 hours. We stayed two nights anyways.
Report Check-InVery quiet and beautiful place. I was the only one here for the night. Clean bathrooms, water and working WiFi.
Report Check-InQuiet and good sized gravel lot with toilets across the road. Two police cars were hanging out when we pulled in at dusk, parked and pulled the shades down. We also talked to a local guy, and he has seen RVs come and go. Looks like a quiet neighborhood around the park, as well. Also, there is a very old church a couple of blocks north of the park.
Report Check-InNice clean and quiet place to park for the night. And with bathrooms! Just know that boaters will be coming by in the morning, but not an issue at all. We even woke up to a wedding!
Report Check-InWe stopped here to have lunch and check things out. Really cute and quiet area. Signs say parking permitted in designated area for up to 24 hours. So, we think it would be ok to sleep here. We had plans to move on so we didn’t actually stay but we think it’s worth a try. Bathrooms and drinking fountains across the street.
