quiet grounds right by the river, 2 miles down a gravel road to get there but we were fine in the Subaru. made a fire by the river and slept in the car. there were a couple other people there but no one bothered us.
Report Check-InFree campground. No longer maintained by forest service. Picnic tables and pit toilets have been removed. Occasionally used by homeless in the area. Arrived at the beginning of summer and stayed 2 weeks. Had the place to ourselves for about a week, then once Memorial Day came it was packed. There are about 7 or 8 old campsites, but once it became busy, people camped wherever a spot could be made. Very popular with the locals. Good Verizon and ATT signal. Too heavily forested for Starlink. About 25 minutes to town. Two miles down a forest service road and then another 10 or so down narrow paved local roads.
Report Check-Inhad a nice 4 day stay here. very remote, only saw some locals enjoying the outdoors. 2 large sites for 20+ ft rvs. 6-7 established sites in total.
Report Check-InBeautiful campsite on a creek! Verizon service was good, T-Mobile was nonexistent. I had the whole campground to myself on a Monday.
Report Check-InGreat place to camp or park for the night. Very quiet.... lots of spots to park.... maintained road to and from. Places to fish.... stream. Great Verizon coverage!
