25 Campsites right beside the Breede River. R150pp. On the riverbank itself, most of the sites are for ground tents only but site number 8 is OK for a vehicle with roof top tent. Plenty of places for RTT further back from river. All other vehicles are parked on the top level away from river bank which makes it very pleasant. Campsites have electricity and braais (bring your own grid). Ablution facilities with hot-water showers. Kitchen and washing-up facilities with a shared fridge/freezer. Small shops sells wood, ice, drinks and various other items.

Bonnievale will be closing to all camping from 1st May 2023. The entire resort is been upgraded to accommodation and an events destination.
Report Check-InWhat a great place to camp. Right on the river and very quiet. Unfortunately the the campsite will be closing to all camping from 1st May 2023. The entire property will be going thru major upgrades. It was such a great place to camp, they whole area is beautiful and there are some really awesome places to visit. Fortunate to be one of the last people to camp here.
Report Check-In
Nice campsite, but be carefully with the price. The Manager means that since the weekend it is high season and we paid 175 ppn and no negoation was possible. Afterwards we checked their Homepage and could book it for 150 ppn. We where here two days and told the manager that this was not so nice, but the answer was that it is normal that an internet price is less.
We where the only Camper, but if it is full there is no privatcy between the sites
