Wonderful hideaway in the cedar berg mountains. Well worth stopping for a few days if possible or even one night. The ablutions are clean and well maintained. Space for pitching tent or roof top tents. There are tents or cabins for hire. Swimming pool. Braai place, Boma and communal kitchen. Road is easily accesible from the cedarberg road towards Algeria after the bridge across the Olifants River. WiFi throughout camp.

Returned here to camp after first visit 3 years ago. Friendly new managers running it for overseas owner. As described by others and still a very attractive location but at R190 pppn a bit overpriced there being no electricity, taps or braai places at the 3 camp sites.

nice place, good vibe. there are a couple row of tents they rent on Airbnb or 3 camping spots. R190/person for one night or R150/person if you stay 2 or more. pool, nice fire area. wifi is good. if you drive the river from Clanwilliam there are a number of orchards by the river with cottages and a couple of wild camping spots if look for them.

Awesome place to camp, with access to a great lapa for cooking / sheltering from the sun or rain, a lovely pool with stunning views, and great ablutions. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the local area.

5* for this price bracket! No complaints, lovely bathrooms, everything was very clean, not even dusty. Didn't check out the pool as the weather was atrocious. Paid 340 for 2 people in RTT for 1 night. Would recommend.

What a nice place! We had the whole campsite for ourselves, in the weekend. There ar 3 spacious campsites with a beautiful view over the mountains and there is shade from big eucalyptus trees. Some sites have a swinging chair and a picknick table. There is a nice swimming pool and good equipped kitchen in the lapa you can use. We made a fire at the fireplace. The managers are very friendly, they even gave us a welcome drink and a wet towel when we arrived. Definitely recommend!
And good news for a lot of overlanders traveling as a couple: no children under 16 allowed.

Beautiful campsite and tented accommodation. There are three campsites with a view into the valley, so call or email the owner Nic beforehand! Very nice guy by the way!
Pool and big braai area with a very cozy community fire. Nic will provide you with some big bean sacks to sit in.
Big lapa with several cooking plates, microwave and everything else you need for cooking. Fridge which is free to use for everyone. The lapa can be closed so you would have a great and beautiful windshelter if needed as well.
If you want to stretch your legs, there is a little walk to the elephant rock. Also is just 20 minutes to Algeria where some big hikes start.
300 per campsite. Very fast wifi.
