A place in a flat querry. It seemed to us to be unused . We slept here on a saturday night. Leave the Dondo-Huambo road where a small vegetable market is and a sign to a fazienda (20km). Travel this gravel road untill you see the entrance road to the querry. Opposite of the company compound we turned right on a hugh flat site. No one can see you from the road.

Great quiet night, didn't see anyone but could hear people on the village road nearby in the morning. Tons of flat space with hard footing. Cell coverage on Unitel. Company and quarry signs no longer there but the turn off the dirt road to the left is visible if you are looking out for it.
Report Check-InPositive surprise! Quiet night with nice environment. We changed our wheels here on a flat rocky area. In the morning locals came to shovel sand but they didn’t bother us. Plenty of space.
Report Check-InWe camped here for one night.
We enjoyed a nice and quiet night.
The next morning about 15 locals from a nearby village arrived, and 2 of them decided to take a seat on our camping chairs. They were checking out all our vehicles (we were 11 vehicles in the group), to quite an extend where we started locking everything up. They searched through our garbage bags, littering the place with whatever they did not want. We had to pick up everything again before we left.
Good spot for a long night sleep! This quarry is not used anymore and very quiet.
