Beautiful campsite. Individual large sites either an amazing toilet view! WiFi at each site. Large covered area including gas cooker sink table and storage area. Flat clean site. Lovely well maintained pool. And then the lodge caters for anything else you need. Not cheap but reasonable rates for set meals. Afternoon snacks and drinks included. Beautiful waterhole and fire views. Various well organised safaris and even if you arrive just before they start they’ll make space for you. Loved it here. Hope to return. Service that many lodges and camps could leaven from.

Wonderful nature reserve with big campsites and everything you would need, even WiFi at the sites. Stayed 2 nights at Chilala for NAD 900 p.p. incl. park levy. Leopard drive and endangered species drive both at 1.200 NAD. This is not a place for overlanding on a budget, but definitely one of the best maintained and most well-organized game reserves we have visited in 4 years East and Southern Africa. No option to have a cheap wildlife experience, but the sightings for us were out of this world. Saw 6 different leopards and young brown hyenas at their den. Sable antelope at the watering hole at the lodge.

Camping guests generally don't have access to lodge facilities, but have their own swimming pool. In low season they don't really mind, and camping guests were welcome to enjoy the lodge facilities.

As described. Price for camping for foreigners plus entrance came to N$ 1500 for 2 adults for one night. Leopard Drive N$990 pp.

We got a friendly welcome at the Reception but where disappointed about the 4 campsites (specially after coming from the lovely sites at Mt Etjo Safari Lodge). Sites are huge as they prefere big tour operator groups. The 4 sites are not very charming - only Chimelo has some shady trees to park under. All sites have a shelter who look like in an army camp We had two open Air Toilets both without a sink to wash our hands!! Showers are big and have hot water. Pool is nice but quite a long way to walk to and there are no chairs or other possibility to sit. On the camp next to us they played loud music until mid-night - truly not what we expected in a wildlife park! They asked N$ 600ppn - which is a very stiff price and you are not allowed to use any infrastructure of the Lodge or Bushcamp. Because of Covid they had a special for Namibians N$250 ppn. We would not stay here again!

Special is NAD 250 per person and for game drive 450, but no drinks included.
First day - no hot showers.
Campsites and ablutions clean. Very private and huge.
Our drive was very successful, saw 2 leopards. Followed one on his way, very closed to our car. We got a lot of information from our guide about all mammals and birds we saw. Very nice sundowner spot
