Great coffee house, fast food, and art centre. Large paved parking area (big rig friendly), covered outdoor seating area with plugs to charge gadgets and very clean western style bathrooms. There are paintings and pottery for sale but there were no pushy sales pitches, very relaxed place. The local owner, Charles, is also very interesting and involved with the community using locally sourced bricks, providing employment etc. After spending a few weeks in western Tanzania this place might as well be in East London.
While not a campsite, the owner said he wouldn't mind overlanders staying in the car park, next to the road but security, toilets, and maybe even electricity are all present! I wish we had stayed here instead of at the Anglican HQ 40 min towards the Tanzanian border east of here.

Lovely set up and place to chill! Curio prices a bit inflated and less variety relative to that of Urugo Craft shop for the same/similar things.
