Namibia
Follow easy track next to dry riverbed apx.5 km. Tons of elephant tracks / scat, on the trail. At the watering hole lots of indication of recent activity by elephants, small & large hooved animals, smaller cat prints along with what looked like baboon. Nothing the evening I was there. Strong wind to my back - maybe they smelled me?

We went up to the watering hole, you need good clearance and it can get hot in the ravine, but it’s beautiful. We found the elephant footprints but missed them by one day. It is dry and there was no water lower down.
Report Check-InVery nice riverbed, a little bit sandy, but no problem with a 4x4. Waterhole was dry, but saw a family of elephants here in the morning. Amazing
Report Check-InThe waterhole was empty no water in it and we saw no elephants but only elephants poop on the dirty road. 4x4 only but in the morning we say 2 elephants walking in this area! Beautiful place!
Report Check-Inwe saw 20 wild elephants and plenty of baboons on the way to the waterhole, so we decided not to sleep here! amazing place. need a 4x4 to cross several times the dry river (sand).
Report Check-Inbeautiful place. though towards the end of the rainy season there is water all along the way, so the animals seem a bit more spread out, and the drive might be more challenging. You might not need to go all the way. again, might be more interesting in dry season. a few tracks now, many birds around.
