Unfortunately, in the last two days someone drove into the pillar that held the water taps and destroyed the hole station :( so sad to see this happen.

Fingers crossed the municipality will fix it instead of letting it rot.

This was the nicest and perhaps only sanitation station designed for motor homes/campervans in the whole of southern Argentina.

It would really be a shame to lose it.

motorhome parking with cover outlet, drinking water, waste sorting bin, gray and black water drain. average wifi. quiet night in the very center of El Chalten right next to the bus station. free.

stationnement camping-car avec prise de couvrant, eau potable, poubelle de tri sélectif, vidange eaux grises et noires. wifi moyenne. nuit calme en plein centre d’El Chalten juste à côté de la gare routière. gratuit.

I've never seen anything like thisb! Thanks and congratulations El Chaltén for this great free service! This is the dream parking for every Motorhome. There are several spots to park with water and electricity. The dump station is self service and very well made! Don't miss the chance of using such great services like this one.

si necesitas ducha en Rancho Grande Hostel x Av San Martin x 200 pesos hasta la 1 am.

Excelente lugar para motorhome. Descarga de aguas grises y negras, carga de agua potable, puntos de luz a 220v y de agua en diferentes lugares, tachos de reciclaje de residuos, bien nivelado. Sólo le faltaría estar asfaltado.
De momento es el único lugar con todos los servicios que hemos encontrado en el viaje.

Great that they have this here. Facilities:
Grey water, black water dump, water refill.

Important: check sign and read carefully BEFORE starting isento the station. It’s not necessarily the same protocol as in other countries. Help keep área systems clean.

dumpstation for grey and black water. also fresh water to fill up your tank. next to the dumpstation, there is space for 10 motorhomes and at some places there is electricity. this is FREE!
you also can use the free wifi from paisdigital, this comes from te information point across the street. There is NO 4G in whole of El Chaltén so you have to use wifi.

you can get free wifi from paisdigital from the information point at the other side of the street. there is NO 4G in El Chaltén, so wifi is nesicery if you want to use the internet.

Área de Serviço Público, guarda parques indicam este local para descarga de caixa negra e porta potti dos motorhome...atendimento tranquilo pelo responsável do local...único local em toda cidade... Acesso pela rua atrás do Terminal Rodoviário.

This is the public services shed. At the back of the left building you can dump your portable toilets in a hole in the ground where all the public sewages go through (see pictures) is open from 8am to 8pm. You can drive around the buildings for easier access.
