we stayed here, in front of the police station and the church for 5 nights - involuntarily because of the protests and road blocks all over Perú, couldn’t get anywhere. Police were very friendly, spot was safe and quiet. No facilities- when we had to empty our greywater tank and our septic tank, police told us to do that “in the pampa” near the cemetery. Locals very friendly. Some small shops for basic needs around, the priest of the church would let us hook up with our long electricity cable. Free average internet for 1 hour per 24 hours.
Report Check-InWe stop on saturday evening. Very quiet but on sunday we were waked at 5 am by a guard to move because there was the weekly market
Report Check-InSuper quiet place, police officer freindly! Market on next street.
Report Check-InParked right across the street from the police station in the square, seems like a better option than the other spots down the road closer to puno. Not a ton going on in town, but cute nonetheless.
