The road in is rough! if driving a sedan proceed with caution! suggest vehicle with more clearance to get over washes . Several campsites on this BLM road. From coordinates is a spot big enough for a rv. plenty of privacy at this spot. Lots of hiking trails and climbing. hiking nude even a nude beach. On the weekends this spot can get dusty due to off-roaders. Clean spot so please keep it that way. No shooting is permitted here due to accesive hiking.

bumpy, windy road in. all spots are packed with people. gets even more busy on the weekends with people on motorbikes and buggies ripping around
Report Check-InVery rough road! And extremely crowded with campervans, dune buggies, vehicles. There are two large parking lots, and as the road goes on it becomes more dispersed camping. Do not recommend looking for spots after dark. Beautiful views!
Report Check-InWhile gorgeous view of Tucson please note it is incredibly busy on weekends.
Report Check-InThe road isn’t too bad. We have a 30’ Skoolie and it was a slow drive, but not too intense. Plenty of space in this spot for a larger vehicle. Our bus got blocked in by three vehicles (hikers) one afternoon, so it might be wise to park blocking the extra space if you’re planning on leaving and are worried about getting blocked in. The hiking around here is great, down to the Tanque Verde River and waterfall. Take note: there is a “clothing optional” swimming area along the river. This area is clearly marked, just be advised. Everyone was respectful. Great spot with a great view of the sunset over Tucson. Lots of traffic on the weekends.
Report Check-InAmazing spot on the side of the road on the way up the mountain. Area is large enough for an RV or bus but the road is rough getting here. Beautiful view of Tucson and the mountains in the distance...surrounded by saguaro cacti.
