Description

Exit P1100 at 23.837327,-15.867890 No services. Cliff drops to the bay and to the ocean appear and disappear out of nowhere use caution especially at night. This camping area consists of an open area that is flat and surrounds a small Bay. It is wide open at the top and can be very windy. You can also drive down to the bay where it is secluded and calm. There is a decent beach but be careful the sand can be deep in places surrounding the bay. Camp about 1 KM from the highway - so quiet (except the wind) Much better overlander spot than nearby PK25.

Latest Check-Ins

As described.
As we stayed on the plateau (a vast space, no garbage at all, we were the only caravan) and did not go the bay, we cannot comment regarding the latter.
The evening and night were very calm and we did not get any visits from locals/police/military, but as it was VERY windy (which intensified throughout the night), we left very early in the morning.

Report Check-In

Possible to camp here, or rent large tents (paid accommodation).
Lots of Moroccans during holidays. I believe there's a Moroccan here toilet. . Beach good for swimming, but the entire area was totally littered in trash, bottles and toilet paper. Very very dirty and unclean, so I moved on, but locals don't seem to mind.
