you're not allowed to camp in the park any more, we were banned in a bad way by the guard, very unfriendly people surrounded by small restaurants with people drinking alcohol with loud music. we decided move to another place.
Report Check-InReally good place to stay! We paid 8 bs pp rounded by nature! They said there wasnt showers but the toilet was fine! We arrived at 5pm it was a lil bit crowded but as soon as it get dark, everybody was gone. We were completely alone except for the guards and a dog! Very recommended!
Report Check-Inas described by everyone, very nice place, still 6 bobs pp. shower locked, didn't ask if it's possible to open it. we were there on a Saturday evening, and it was very quiet.
and something new (at least when we were there), toilets are at 1 bob on Sundays.
and on Sunday, it's barbecue time for the locals, so it's a little bit crowded
This place is PACKED on Sundays until 7pm. We had a great time hanging out at an eatery/watering hole nearby with incredible friendly locals, until the park started clearing out after dark. If you are looking for tranquility, you may want to avoid the weekends altogether. We seemed to have the place to ourselves for camping Sunday night though.
Report Check-InAs described a wonderful recreation area.
Easy access to the city center of Cochabamba with Trufi, which picks you up next to the Parque Pairumani. You only have to change the Trufi once in Quillacollo. The way to Cochabamba will take you 1 hour. Price one way 2 x 2,50 BOB.
Wonderful campground at an unbeatable price (6 Bol pp). picnic tables, bbq's, fire pits and a very comfortable temperature after the cold alto Plano.
Report Check-Inhuge place! Saturday was pretty busy with locals but not too noisy/busy. haven't seen such a big and busy campsite since the US. if you drive all the way to the right you have a beautiful view over the city. 6pppn
Report Check-InAs Las Lilas was booked until August (mormons stayed there for volunteering), we went to this park. It was a great decision! It smells delicious, it's very peaceful and a great view over the city (oh and only 6 Bol per person ;)). We arrived really late (around 22:00) and asked around. There were security guards sitting at one of the houses (walk towards the lights) and they could open the gate for us. Really recommend it if you don't feel like staying in the city center (also there are not many options of you want to park your car safely).
Report Check-Ingate for forest around 2.90m high. parking lot is nice too but bbq pits around 100m away
Report Check-InRecreation park in small forest along dry river with many day tourists and school groups. Toilets, braais and picnic benches. No showers (we saw a locked room with showers, but we were told arcthe entrance that no showers were available). Electricity at toilets, but toilet is too far from any reasonable place to put your car to have benefit of it. Cheap. Caravans and big rigs have to park at the parking lot near the entrance. BOL 12 (2 adults, camper).
Report Check-InAMAZING place! Clean, empty, green, full of forest scents! The administracion/boleteros leave at 4 pm. 6 bs per person, 50 bs per tent.
