Latest Check-Ins

Only about 8 spots, 4 to the left 4 to the right. To the left there was only one spot that appeared to be actually campers. They rest had “long term homeless encampment” vibes. The ones to the right are very shallow except for the first two spots.

Report Check-In

Car camped one night, felt very uneasy here. It was almost too quiet. Maybe that’s because it’s almost winter and was a weekday but I wouldn’t stay again alone no matter what time of year. I stayed in the campground area, no one else there, but I drove all the way down the two roads near it and a few of the spots were occupied. Pretty close to Highlands which was a really neat looking town. No service.

Report Check-In

Several campsites, most with fire rings and picnic tables. At the info board T-junction, right has several sites a bit closer together than taking a left at the info board. I went about a mile down to the left and got a site just off the road where two creeks converged. Only saw a glimpse of one other camper/vehicle near the info board. Lots of quiet and water sounds. Tent in the bed of a Tacoma, but there’s plenty of room at most sites for something much larger.

Report Check-In

Dirt roads to an information board and then you can drive left or right to find some primitive camping spots. The ones to the right are closer to the road and the road itself is shorter. The ones to the left are a little bigger, have more of a "driveway," and are generally further from each other. We went to the left and found the perfect campsite for us which had a lot of room and allowed us to get some sun amongst all the trees.

nice campground with fire pit and picnic table up a dirt forest road.

Report Check-In

Great spots next to a creek, cars drive by periodically but extremely peaceful.

Report Check-In

Careful - GPS coordinates tried to take us to Glen Falls and have us walk here. Go to Highlands first, then take 28S about 6 miles, go until the road turns to gravel and then another 3-4ish miles and there’s a pull off on the left with a fire pit & more spots for tents up the stairs to the right.
